Stock SMS? Stock rom? Did anything different before it happen?

that's strange, I've been using stock app never hang before. is it recently or from the start? have the same problem when using other 3rd party app?

if you on stock ROM, try updating the OS via OTA or KIES

OS a.k.a firmware

Try to uninstall any recent apps that you installed

Install titanium backup,  wipe data for messaging..

It is quite difficult to find modern combat 3 in samsung apps store..

But I think I have an easier solution, see the search button, just type modern combat 3..

Monitor and let us know what is under "partial wake lock"

This person's tread will cause the app to hang?

If so, what's the message counter on it?
Is it a very big tread?

Maybe its time you enabled max counter @ 200 or something.

What he mean was only that contact when he press will hang. Others is ok. And he typo hang to hand 

use go sms pro, backup this person's msg and den delete all.

Delete the entire tread and start over again.
