I think my phone gets the symptoms from ahem apps as stated at the first page.
Sudden reboots occasionally and hangs while browsing.
What should I do now? Factory reset?

Freeze the app.
Or uninstall it.

Then factory reset after u flashed.

Also, format your internal SD card so you start off with a totally blank phone.

Anyone here kind enough to share with me CheckROM V5.zip file. The source listed in XDA all either dead or extremely slow..

Dropbox or torrent file will do.

I uninstalled some pirated apps.
Now left 5 pirated games and 2 dictionary.
Will report back after some days.

Darn... I'm bored of keep restarting the phone for more than 2 times per week because phone will become lag or hangs after some continuous up time of phone. Hope this is just pirated apps issue...

well i can said so pirated apps do cause this problem
if possible try to get rid of all the pirated apps then your phone will be smooth like butter again

Ah found it in the same thread. Hmm but reading through it does have minor problems with CRT off and what nots. Found a restore file as well so I did that instead. Maybe i'll check in later ons to see how the thread progresses, if at all =p

Yeah it conflicts with jkay's crt. For this one no workaround. Pick either one only. I am using the rotation animation with screen off & lock to get a proper crt.

You installed the fix for gallery as well?

Eh I used CRT off + lock screen also, so shouldn't have issue? (apart from crt off effect now making the page upside down while it closes lol)

no issue with crt just the upside down thingy. i dun use gallery, i use quickpic.

Was multiupload taken down as well or something? Link to the gallery fix and all was via multiupload

weird now my maxis broadband could not open the page taking way too long to load the page now

this morning using work streamyx having no problem at all

Not working for me, on streamyx.

Should work on most ROM's
