Thats why you install a toggleswitch.

I have mine that sets
10%
30%
50%
100%

Moving the top bar is dodgy, prefer using switches instead.

Nolar. I find speedmod screen on time bad compare to red pill and siyah. For my usage anyway.

Really? Last time I use not bad but can't UV is a problem tongue.gif

QUOTE(snigapoe @ Feb 9 2012, 01:39 PM)
red pill gave me sod just now  rclxub.gif
thinking of i can survive with this kernel for few more day, i will try latest siyah hopping did not have so much battery drainage as 2.6.11

i worry to test out neak d since giving sod
*
NEAK have not give me much SOD if you delete siyah bolt. Red Pill v1.2 give me SOD randomly. So, back to Siyah.

QUOTE(antt00 @ Feb 9 2012, 01:53 PM)
Red pill give you SOD? If you got the bolt_siyah script in init folder try delete it and see.

I dunno why neak give me sod. Didn't even have time to tweak anything yet. And also remove scripts already. You can try it if you want.
*
I delete also no use. RP just don't like my phone doh.gif

Screen on time?
Speedmod is great, especially since it lowers the minimum brightness level compared to stock kernel.

Did you exit the apps using 'back' instead of pressing home button?

Go download betterbatterystats from xda and install.
Monitor and let us know what is under "partial wake lock"

I don't understand you...

"..this one person hand, others press back, ok only.."

When I read that, it makes it seem like you're talking about a disabled person using the phone.

Re-reading it a few times, do you mean inside the stock messaging app.

This person's tread will cause the app to hang?

If so, what's the message counter on it?
Is it a very big tread?

Maybe its time you enabled max counter @ 200 or something.

I am in JB as well, if you're on maxis, go tweet to them that your area has bad signal reception.

I am on maxis as well and skudai reception should be almost maxed out to be honest.

Well, I unplugged my phone @ 6.30am this morning, and until now; 4.40pm with data on, it's at 84%. Signal H+ is 1/4 in my office, so the signal is flipflopping between Edge and 3G.

Never used my phone much as I'm in office, but used the net for a few minutes during lunch and tea breaks.

Added on February 9, 2012, 4:47 pmBtw, my phone is as follows:

Speedmod K2-19
KK5 firmware

No UV, no OC

Also, when you see 3G, that's for the phone to save battery.

H+ is just a faster 3G speed, but the cell tower is the same and the cell band is also the same.

Either UMTS900 or UMTS2100

50-80% screen brightness is TOO high.

Drop it to minimum. No wonder your battery drains so fast.
*
hmm im not sure how is the reception at taman universiti n flora vile area. if at jb then wont be a prob biggrin.gif i also no UV or OC it..
at 10% brightness for indoor is ok bt for outdoor i hardly see it under bright sunlight. bt at high brightness the colour is much nicer i cant hold to keep at tht setting tongue.gif btw thnx ya mayb its time to update new ver of rom... not uptodate wif this thread since CNY break sweat.gif

QUOTE(Besanth @ Feb 9 2012, 04:54 PM)
50% to 80% of brightness is pretty high that's why your battery drains very fast. Drop it to around 30% and you'll save a lot more battery  smile.gif
*
thx for the guide besanth.. mayb my screen brightness is the main cause laugh.gif

cant find it on phone. need to connect phone to pc (ensure that android adb shell is installed correctly), and launch adb from pc.
