helo guys jst wondering hows ur battery usage by open 3G all the time n some light surf n some sms or call mayb .... cz i found tht my battery decrease quite fast n nid to recharge it in the evening... jst hoping to improve the juice, btw im using custom rom , hope sifu2 here can help

Approximately how many SMS a day?
How many minutes of calls?

Drop to what %? Start using from what time?

got problem with my market on browser. why it can't detect my device?

Maybe you need to relogin to the market website.

im using turkbey romv30.3, siyah kernelv2.6.7.
start using the fon at 7am(battery fully charged)
receiving around 4-10 calls, n 10-15 sms,
surfing fb, forum, for 30min approximately btw the icon show H+ during i on my data... btw i surf around few min n battery percentage start to drop 5-10% approximately, is that ok??

What's your screen brightness level?

Using a few minutes and the battery drops 5-10% is odd, unless your screen brightness is set to 100% and your phone gets weak 3G signal.

thought about that. follow the instructions but it didn't help. Ergh.. I'm pissed.

After fully charged, I tried to play assasin creed and modern combat for like a total of 10 minutes.. Then b4 i sleep i check my phone 89% and i set my alarm,then go to home, lock screen, i woke up with alarm ringing,off it, see battery : 7 %

Did you exit the apps using 'back' instead of pressing home button?

Go download betterbatterystats from xda and install.
Monitor and let us know what is under "partial wake lock"

If screen density is back to 240, market should work fine. Maybe it just need to refresh itself or something. Try checking back later.

H+ bt most of the time is 1/4 n 2/4 ... some times got drop to 3G mayb my area( skudai ) maxis reception not so gud btw my screen brightness is 50 n 80% most of the time as i jst adjust at the top of the screen btw if data package on all the time n ur fon is idle how is the drop rate of ur battery?? as my fren also got complain tht her s2 ( g model) data package on all the time n the drop rate is quite high... btw thnx for ur rply n help..

I am in JB as well, if you're on maxis, go tweet to them that your area has bad signal reception.

I am on maxis as well and skudai reception should be almost maxed out to be honest.

Well, I unplugged my phone @ 6.30am this morning, and until now; 4.40pm with data on, it's at 84%. Signal H+ is 1/4 in my office, so the signal is flipflopping between Edge and 3G.

Never used my phone much as I'm in office, but used the net for a few minutes during lunch and tea breaks.

Also, when you see 3G, that's for the phone to save battery.

H+ is just a faster 3G speed, but the cell tower is the same and the cell band is also the same.

Drop it to minimum. No wonder your battery drains so fast.

50% to 80% of brightness is pretty high that's why your battery drains very fast. Drop it to around 30% and you'll save a lot more battery

My phone is at 10% brightness and I think thats plenty for indoors.
