You using root explorer?
after your done with the script, move it to /system/etc/init.d
then long press the script and select permission
tick the first 9 squares
when you press ok you will see your script permission is rwx-rwx-rwx.
the script will run at every boot.

If you dun want to reboot to test, tap the script, select Linux Script Handler, select execute.

Long press the file then press permissions. Tick all.

U can't see it on PC,need file explorer like root explorer

If you wanna move from pc, download "droid explorer"

Of copy to sdcard, then use any phone file explorer that support root to move it to the folder

Copy to sdcard first, then open root explorer and copy the file from ur sdcard to that location.

You need to enable the ROOT function in File Expert's setting

Need to allow read/write also in that folder.

You need to mount the system as rw first

Guys need some advise here..

am on the G version unit, got the phone earlier this week - Tuesday. I have read and realise the G unit will have camera issue, hang issues, but since i have got it barely 3 days, i have so far encountered 3 occurence whereby the camera will crash after taking its first pic...

It will first freeze, after a while it will jump back out to home, then when u try to launch it again, it will say camera crashed and cannot restart untill the unit is rebooted

there was one occasion when after the failure to relaunch i placed it back into my pocket and realised its warming up, checked batt temp it was around 45c ... shut down immediately and restart thereafter ...

what should i do?

Hello people. Am a bit stuck on the dead end here. Let's start with some necessary info.

1. Am using Galaxy S2
2. Applied for Celcom exec 50 + mbasic 38 data plan. (just activated)
3. I didn't get S2 with Celcom package. It's just an add on. Was previously on Maxis.

Problem that I'm facing.
1. I'm unsure if I'm online using mbasic plan!
    - When I enable data packet, there is a icon (with up down arrow and an É) but the speed is helluva slow.
    - When I checked my data usage online, it shows that I've not used any data! (but I surfed the web lightly despite    the awful speed.

Question.
1. How to make sure that I'm actually surfing using mbasic plan?
2. Is it necessary to keep data packet on (though I'd assume it's a yes if I'm gonna use whatsapp)?
3. Is it possible to check voice plan and data plan usage on the phone itself (without going online)?
4. I tried to get the phone setting from the Celcom online customer service website but it says that my phone is not supported. Am lost.
