hello guy...
my school .. create some magazine.. and i as a Graphic.. editor.. wanna take some coment from u all... i use .. many software.. to create .. my arts.. and the most is Photoshop (CS2) this is .. my first design . errr...got theme or not?? i design my skool wan is abstract..and my teacher keep complaining cuz she wants a meaning of the design...her 1st demand was Batik..OMG BATIK COver... the 4th wan quite plan wor |

Just bear in mind that designing for printing requires AT LEAST 150dpi.

By default & for web purposes, the res is 72dpi, thats why when u print directly from screen it gets pixelated.
But 150dpi also only for graphic elements. If you use scanned pics and want to get picture crisp images, use 300dpi. Around 15mb-40mb in size for A4. Make sure u use good pc with good graphic card  150dpi also u hv to zoom very close make sure nothing gets 'pecah'. Learned it the hard way when I designed for my class page in 1999.
