Its a good move by Honda finally realizing that Korean makers finally pushing them to the edge. 5 year warranty is a plus, with some added gadgets like Bluetooth, keyless entry, pushstart button, swapped to multilink rears finally, headlamp auto/on-off. Navi touchscreen with rear camera, new iMID display. By the looks of it, Honda is bucking up while i see Toyota is slacking with its removed VSA Camry, numerous enhanced Vios, a torsion beam Altis which still retains the 3years warranty for all models. Kudos to Koreans and they should push them Japs more for them to realize that.

Modulo looks more menacing, it got some cues on the FD Civic ... actually it is not bad. My guess is for US, they get the USDM Civic which greatly resemble the new Civic while we were used to JDM Civic and was given this as the new Civic thus we dont get the feeling ' hey its the same design like the previous civic ' thingie like some unhappy Americans.

bro, i dare not ask these questions to the honda lovers here. Too advanced la bro..enough la..let them be..

The FD2 civic doesn't even have onboard trip computer but nobody made any noise..y ppl like to be sucked dry by Honda??..I don't understd la these ppl..

sigh..with this mentality Mysian auto scene will be very boring and becoming more and more like indonesia and vietnam market..

anyway...their money their choice..for the others use your money to buy something more interesting.

Get a life

enough with your FD2 rants, we are now talking about FB not FD2. Plus FD was introduced during 2005 and that was the years where there is a transition where onboard trip started to take the hype for some Jap makers. Mind you tht a 2005-2008 Audi A4 B7type also doesnt have onboard trip computer. So what is your say on Audi ? being cheapskate ?

2004 VW Mk4 GT Golf also doesnt come with onboard trip computer
2005 VW SE Mk5 Golf 1.9TDI also doesnt come with the onboard trip computer and only shows blanks.

in Malaysia , the Honda brand name can still protect a little bit for 2nd hand resale value

not a littlebit, is crazy.. u look at that FD2... still selling 99k for a 3-4 years old model .. really crazy and not worth getting for a used car ..

UV Solar Cut Glass would be mentioned in your manual or spec list if it was installed. But the glass itself will have a natural tint and when u sit inside it on a very hot day, u wont feel the burning heat so much.
*
The Civic Hybrid has it, Honda called it as Heat Absorbing Glass, not sure about other Civic though.

Honda Malaysia reports record sales for July, 2012

Staying true to its promise at the start of 2012, Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. has kept to its word, and reports record sales for the month of July.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The company has made an impressive recovery from the production halt due to the Thailand floods last year and has made a comeback for the first half of 2012. Honda Malaysia today announced that its sales in July hit an all-time high of 5,045 units, the highest monthly record in the company's history.

"It is with great joy and excitement that we can share this good news with our customers. We had to start this year on a challenging note; however, we strived to recapture our high spirits and confidence believing that our 'Challenging Spirit' will help us rise stronger from dire straits in 2011. And today we are most delighted to announce this record sales achievement in July," remarked Mr. Yoichiro Ueno, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Malaysia.

Despite the setbacks due to the natural disasters in Japan and Thailand last year, the company got down to business and used the period to plan its future investment and expansion. Honda Malaysia opened a new warehouse in February, completed a new Pre-Delivery Inspection Center (PDI) and very recently announced plans to start the local assembly of hybrid vehicles and to build a new production line at its Pegoh Plant.

Honda Malaysia introduced 8 new models this year, Jazz Hybrid, facelifted City, CR-Z CVT, New Freed S, facelifted Insight, All-New Civic and Civic Hybrid and New Jazz S. The robust record sales was especially led by the New City and the All-New Civic.

The newly face-lifted City has recorded sales of 2,217 units, accounting for 44% of the total sales for July. The All-New Civic showed a strong start with its advanced and smart concept and has achieved overwhelming response with more than 3,000 bookings in less than a month since it was launched in July.

Woots~~ not a single spec in MY Civic has it ? mad.gif Maybe HOnda Malaysia is saving it for their FL ?

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Oct 4 2012, 11:50 AM)
Yes, that's why like previously FD version.. FD1 cannot fold, FD2 can fold... Then when pasang bodykit, want to carry bumper back, FD1 cannot fit in due to no foldable seats.

I never realized the importance of it until I install bodykit.
*
yup, last time i drive a Satria Gti. Bumper, old dashboard all can fit after seats fold down. thumbup.gif
