QUOTE(mysjumblesale @ Jul 28 2012, 09:51 PM) any discount u got? No discount given bro. This hybrid is using Li-Ion battery instead of NiMH batterywanna ask ur opinion. do u think RSV will be good for hybrid? Are u worry on battery IMA problem as seen over the internet? =) What is RSV?? During test drive I rev damn hard but battery level still remain the same Previously I test drove Insight the battery discharged quite fast (until empty!) even on normal driving conditions |

just got my civic hybrid. Noticed loud noise coming from the tyres on certain roads. Wonder those Dunlop Sport 300 tyres are suitable for our road conditions & weather

QUOTE(ExpZero @ Aug 24 2012, 12:01 AM) Coming from front....I always thought this is normal? It sound like something "activated" whenever I press break. It sounds like a small motor spinning for about 3 seconds. could it be the charging motor? i think u better check with HM mechanics on the abnormal soundsSomemore my car sometimes when I press emergency break, my car body will have one "kreaaak" sound, it came from right rear passenger seat, below the car. I'm pretty sure this kreaaak sound is abnormal. anyone driving civic hybrid already done 1000km preventive maintenance? |

QUOTE(CarOnLine @ Aug 24 2012, 11:10 PM) The spinning motor sound is normal ( sound like a buzzer sound ) coming from an electric motor generate pressure to the booster of the break. ( after 2~3 pump to the break ) I've notice it long ago ( post # 914 ) and confirm with HM and also tested a new show room car which's also having the same scenario. What was done in the service? No engine oil change until 10000km right?I've done my 1K services last week. |
