Hi,
i am one of the honda civic fb owner. be glad if anyone could offer your opinion. i have this problem after bought my civic for about 5 months. while driving, the car just didn't want to accelerate after i press paddle few times. when the car slow down, the body was jerking and suddenly engine dead. luckily i was at the roadside. few indicator light were on when the engine dead. i tried to start few times, but the car cannot start. then after waited for few minutes and restart again the car, then only the engine on. this is the third times it happens. hv u experience the same thing? if yes just would like to know what could be the problem. I'm quite concern cause I'm using it for long distance and with family. what u suggest me to do? hope to get your reply and opinion. thanks in advance..

the first time i sent, they suspect due to paddle lock that i put at brake paddle. that i put at accessories but suggested by honda salesman. so, already removed. the second time it happen, they did reset the edu, the trouble code and that's all, according to them nothing is wrong..no charge. then it happen again the third time, this time i was driving at third lane…luckily the traffic was not heavy, i managed to stop at roadside before it suddenly dead..plan to send to honda again but if they keep on saying the same thing, what u all suggest me to do? any opinion? really feel headache with this problem, coz I'm planning for long distance travel with family. afraid the same thing happen again, quite dangerous lah, suddenly cannot accelerate then engine just die off like that.

At the same time, u file a case in consumer tribunal court
Both of u go to court (not court mammoth lah)
Let judge decide what is the compensation from them to u
Tribunal handle RM25,000 & below case for compensation
Invite reporters too..............
Let them do their work bcoz many times u suffer

If u are lucky, ask for 1 to 1 replacement
Bcoz when a defect, many defect ll happened

thanks for so many feedbacks from u guys. really appreciate that. previously i sent the car to auto world asia sg buloh. that is the first time is sent to sc, they blame the paddle lock. they advised to removed it. ok i remove. the second time i sent to rawang (bcoz nearby my house) they sent to peringgit sc coz for diagnose using computer, that's the time they reset the edu. the third to auto world again.

this morning i sent again to auto world asia sg buloh. they ask my permission to keep the car there for at least 3 days for them to check. i did ask what if they couldn't detect the problem? they said will ask honda malaysia peoples to come together and check (which mean i will not be driving my civic for at least 5 days +/-) cry.gif
they still don't suggest to put that paddle lock. rclxub.gif

i think will wait for their response for this. if still not satisfied, then probably will email to honda malaysia (as what u suggested). btw how to cc to honda thailand and asia?
tribunal will be the next step if still no satisfied answer

thanks for the concern. the third time incident actually happen when i was driving on third lane highway, but luckily traffic not heavy, so managed to stop at the roadside.

mine is 2.0 navi.

Hi,

recently i got call from honda about my civic. they suspect the multiplex wiring shot from chemical spray used during installation of tinted film. so they asked me where did i installed my tinted film? coz if i install myself, mostly warranty void. so i said done at honda branch before i got my car. is it common to get this kind of problem? why honda wiring so sensitive? btw, what's multiplex for?
i installed my tinted film for two cars before but never has this kind of problem. anyone of u experience same problem before.

so now they r ordering the multiplex and probably ready by 1 or 2 weeks time, and during that time they cannot release my car..oh my god, no car for approx 3 weeks cry.gif

Bcoz whatever problem occured, the 1st question that bear in their mine is to void the warranty.
They try to find our fault to void the warranty by asking the most STUPID questions lke:

What are the professional qualifications do they have, such as mechanical degree from Harvard, Cambrige University, Tokyo University or any Master or phD Degree in engineering do they have....

U are the customer & u are always right....
Ask them, simple questions.
Do U know How Much I Pay for This FB?, Not a Proton or Viva Price
How much Loan I get from the bank for this?

Ask them to think of these
1) Does he understanding what is CUSTOMER?
2) What is the "Consumer Act" & how the act can always protect consumer?
3) What is Tribunal Courts?
4) What is a Customer' satisfaction
5) How much HONDA spend for advertisement just to build a Brand?
6) Value to deliver to end user (customer)?
7) What is their competitors re-action when facing this scenarion?
8) Talk Cxxk or Work?
9) Words of Mouth
10) FB Forum

Imagine, if this scenario happened in US, do u think Western people so stupid to accept this?

A good SC ll never ask a stupid question & never threaten their customer to void the warranty, instead ll help customer to solve the problem with a word of Sorry, Compensation for low quality of FB & service.
They should loan u a new car to use bcoz 2 weeks u need a vehicle, need to pay insurance & roadtax & also depreciation in total vehicle value.
In fact, your car is Not a toy for them to do experiment.

They should understand, a car is not only a car
1) A gf to a man
2) A car is not a Freeze, we need to ve a comfort in a car, like Tinted, leather seats, DVD/GPS, Reverse cam
3) Even though we efford to pay for Honda acc like tinted, Doube dinn, reverse cam & body kits but we are NOT stupid to be fool to be expoit with a high price.

If u need a partner to confront with Honda management, get our bro Viking Kong to accompany u to kick their ass in proper, teach them a lesson.
If they ask u many question, they them I refused to answer, if they void your warranty, just file a legal case in Tribunal courts, while attending the hearing session, please invite many reporters
If u are the winner, scan the news & send to CEO of Honda Japan, let them know, Honda is not on par with continental car (VW, Merc, BMW, Audi & many brand).
Honda is like Proton, ask many questions like PMR exam & try to get a chance to void the warranty....

Tell them, I installed outside the tinted bcoz better quality & lower price
Honda parts should be lasting & if can easilly get defect onc after tinted, mean the Honda quality is very low
Honda should recall all that production batch to replace with better quality

when they explained to me the reason i feel like being treated as stupid customer. they assume that the chemical can drip down to the wiring component and damage them.
when i told them that i did the tinting at honda branch (rawang branch), they got no more question. the honda sg buloh (autoworld asia) try to get the item ordered under warranty. but my car need to be in the sg buloh sc so that honda malaysia will not question them further and void my warranty. so they cannot release my car. cry.gif vmad.gif
