No discount given bro. This hybrid is using Li-Ion battery instead of NiMH battery

What is RSV??  blink.gif

During test drive I rev damn hard but battery level still remain the same

Previously I test drove Insight the battery discharged quite fast (until empty!) even on normal driving conditions

booked a 2.0S white on saturday. but the SA told me can only get in Sept / Oct. is this true? I see some ppl getting their cars much earlier in this forum. Besides, I didnt get any discount or freebies..

and what car tint brand did you all request? price?
*
Mine is hybrid, the SA already told me can get in Aug when I book few days ago, I think 2.0/1.8/1.5 got different timing.

I got 1k discount xD

you can get less than 2k for 3m crystalline series.

I'm thinking to go for cannycool high end product, which cost 1300 after heard so many positive comment about her service/product for so many years, you try to google for her negative comment, there is none in all the forums, these make me have confident in her product.

3M how much? My budget around RM1000-RM1300.

Btw, if you guys are doing 3M tint, you should get a e-warranty approximately 2 to 3 weeks after your tint has been done at a 3M authorized applicator in your email. It should look exactly like below. There is no hard copy unless you print it yourself so your only other proof before this is to keep the official receipt given by the authorized 3M applicator

Went to test drive the 2.0 Navi (the show room only has this for test drive) yesterday. The handling is good and smooth.. NVH seems better compared to previous gen (only able to test upto ~90km/h). Now thinking of whether to go for the 2.0 navi or just 2.0s, difference of 5k, will honda void the warranty if we install touch screen GPS and reverse camera outside?
*
Yes, anything touch wiring, warranty void sweat.gif thinking to install side door led outside too, but it warranty will void too, not worth it.

But I believe she've done it outside Honda Service Centre. So now I might get her into trouble. Oops!
*
I think you should ask her about your warranty, or u ask the technician in service center about your warranty.

Just wonder why you need RM5k coverage, for me RM2k is good enough to balance the risk of occurance which far better than nothing. I would suggest to go for disaster coverage especially flood to divert the risk if you have buffer to go on. My2cents!
*
Noted bro, thanks for sharing, so r u taking any windscreen insurance?

No need la, just get standard insurance + windshield is good enough. What for you want to play that extra RM500~600, unless you going to be parking in the Dataran Merdeka area alot which btw hasn't flooded out the carpark for the last 2 years at least, the chances of your car going to swim with the fishes is less than 1% I think.
*
But the windscreen insurance he quoted me is expensive right?

Even if void warranty, it will only void the audio portion, which is really no big deal. The mods you want to worry is anything that piggyback or related to the engine, those they can simply find something to say because of bad installation, the engine die or something.
*
Will they say becuz of the hu wiring problem, it makes the engine died blah blah blah? So the warranty for the whole car r now void

I tell you if they really want to do that, they can. But it's too damn far fetched to say audio wiring problem so cause engine to die.

Anyway, I won't worry about the audio portion too much. Unlike European contis, I doubt the Honda car key is coded with all the car information in which they can immediately check your car info even without looking at the car. That's the beauty of a Japanese car, lots of mod potentials... ehehehe

My car windshield insurance only cost me RM690. My relative's Audi Q5 windshield insurance cost RM900. Is it logical for the Civic windshield insurance to cost RM500+? Perhaps NCD is taken in account, I'm not sure - you have to do more research yourself.

RM275 for RM2k coverage if my memory served me right.

Thanks to both of u, possible I buy only rm2000?

i mean theres someone here said about the navi they can install without voiding warranty. if its true then i want to know what is the unit and what it does. but if there is and that not void warranty is true and it cost less than 5k, then Honda Malaysia is sort of shooting itself on the foot

the navi variant is somehow becoming a blunder. havent see much navi on the road (got to peek real close to check on the touchscreen, sometimes it get a bit embarassing to be honest) but 1.8L is many. i guess 1.8 is still the daddy.  flex.gif
*
I hope thy install oem Honda navi is 3k, I won't complain because I get advantage but I guess those bought 2.0 navi will complain..lol
