That means Honda gave non-ori and install it at Honda service centre, which in turn will NOT void warranty. This means we can buy any third party items to be installed via Honda service centre. Some SA just feel lazy to do it and say "WILL VOID warranty". think we should share this info and use it against them. =) Which branch la??? QUOTE(kaipin @ Aug 13 2012, 09:56 AM) Maybe I should not expect it to be ori as it was FOC.

Also, looking for illuminated side step (both front and back illuminated). Anybody know where to get with warranty allowed? =) QUOTE(zweimmk @ Aug 13 2012, 12:00 PM) Old Klang Road branch. SA told me is about 2k+ including installation. Non-original DVD navi but they will give the warranty since i'm getting from them. Unfortunately no photos, I'm just waiting for SA to tell me when the stock come in.

If u pull the lever from inside without pressing the little button, will it only unlock the drive side door, and other 3 doors remain lock? QUOTE(mokhzaini @ Aug 27 2012, 09:56 PM) so thats another thing that hybrid has and our 2.0 doesnt. u can lock it manually with that little button on the driver side. and it will unlock itself when u open the door without having to push that unlock button (from inside of course) i see 'DRL' as among the gauge symbols on the meter cluster. is this means at the electronic control box there is connection for DRL? and where exactly civic market in the world got DRL as standard?

Yes, it is true that all excise duties are already exempted. But, if all car values reduce (if it happen after GE), then it will also more or less affect the value of Hybrid vehicles. Ppl will start to choose cheaper petrol cars (eg. in this case, would be Civic 2.0) unless petrol price increase. G should consider changing tax structure and allow Hybrid vehicles to pay less Road tax... If not, ppl will generally avoid Hybrid vehicles which are more exp... causing 2nd hand value of Hybrid vehicles to suffer (maybe not much). QUOTE(BuFung @ Aug 28 2012, 12:19 PM) as far as I see now the hybrid is the best choice.. Will not affect by the new Car Policy.... Added on August 28, 2012, 2:43 pmCan get Honda to install for you? QUOTE(kukupet @ Aug 28 2012, 02:29 PM) For all those have civic hybrid out there.. is the malaysia's version have DRL? I notice that the US hybrid have DRL... Have u got urs then? =) Yea, hopefully the G will do something sensible, not just reduce tax blindly. Hybrid is worth it only if petrol price increase (after tax exemption is approved for all cars). Imagine you can get a Civic 2 at RM75k ++, and a Civic Hybrid cost you RM100k. Which one will you choose if petrol price remains the same or slightly increase? =) 2nd hand value will surely drop, but drop more for Civic 2.0. Civic Hybrid 2nd hand value will more or less drop a bit. QUOTE(kukupet @ Aug 28 2012, 03:01 PM) My opinion is that if car price drop, the petrol price somehow will increase slightly. But still.. the only place in the world that Hybrid Civic is cheaper than 2.0 is here. So really worth getting the Hybrid.. PLUS its CBU from Japan.. the quality.. Not sure about the DRL. I have to ask the SA, but from the website there are no indication of DRL option available?

Hmm, my SA say have to pay and he is checking. I will confirm later. Strange... QUOTE(civic2012 @ Aug 29 2012, 10:30 AM) Installed mine for RM280 at sc. Only front led..back normal. Sa didnt tell me back need pay extra. Only said RM280 is standard front led..back non led. Added on August 29, 2012, 10:33 amYeah..i saw this info in their website too....i still thinking maybe i will opt for the fully syn 5-40w which itink will last for 10000km interval and better protection plus heat coverage is much better for our weather 40w rather than 20w

Group booking anyone? Locktech carlock Enterprise : Price estimated RM350 - 360. Sierra Glow : Try to ask if they can give more discount by booking together.
Interested, provide ur details =) Will try to ask only, no guarantee but I think the more order, the better discount we can get.
