Hi All, I found the some of the game sell by Play Asia is quite cheap compare to buy in Penang, I did email to ask Play Asia whether I will get tax if I buy game from them and get it delivery to Penang, their reply is need to check with Penang Custom, No idea how to check with Custom here. Anyone got experience order game before from Play Asia and get it deliver to Penang, any custom tax? Thanks

Hmmm... i think there will be no charges on tax... but you will need to pay for postage, unless you're using their free shipping service... i've never buy anything from play-asia... you can try asking bro zenquix... he helps LYN forumers getting their stuffs from various online "market"

Dynasty Warriors 6 (For PlayStation3™, US, No Region Protection)

Dynasty Warriors 6 (For PlayStation3™, US, No Region Protection) There's no worry for ps3 game's region as it can be played on all models. Regarding about the tax, I also wanna know. From what I know, I heard that purchase more than usd 200 and above might get taxed. Correct me if I'm wrong, thanks.

QUOTE(davinlicious @ Feb 4 2012, 10:21 AM) buy 1 game no need to pay tax game will received around 1 week Thanks for the reply, I can see there are several freight option that, some is very expensive and the lowest is like RM15, is the RM20 can get the game within 1 weeks, because the shipment date is like showing up to 21 days and some is come with insurance can be as high as RM27, with that, causing the cost of the game less attractive, anyone try before?

Ya..buy 1 or 2 games wont be taxed. Normal shipping will reach here about 1week from Hong Kong. Sometimes 2 weeks.
If u use Fedex or UPS..its faster...eg 2~3 days. Ive been buying games/toys fr Playasia since 2007. No problem with them so far

buying from play asia requires some strategy if you wish to get very good deal. normally i'll spot few nice old games at very good price and buy 1 shot... last 2 years i bought 7 games around RM480 including shipping another thing is currency... now USD has dropped, so price is rather low than last month. region wise is not important except you want to follow your PSN region, like US is R1, Europe R2, Asia R3, Australia R4. If you are not picky then just buy whatever is cheap as o|O|o said... less than RM500 will be safe from tax... most important... u need credit card This post has been edited by cycheah: Feb 4 2012, 01:20 PM
