Chelsea should ship off Malouda,Mikel,Bosingwa, and other deadweight that u guys think are not bringing any good football..I mean when u see these bunch of footballers playing, you know deep down what kind of football u are going to watch.Even though u guys still defend these players because they are still part of the club,I know deep down how u feeling.Everyone prefers fast-tempo,attacking football with plenty of excitement, not some kind of 'exciting heart-pumping adrenaline-inducing backwards-sideways 'tiki-taka'... doh.gif

Chelsea would get trashed tommorow,I would be damn surprised if they win.If Chelsea really wins tommorow, please quote this post of mine and say 'IN YOUR FACE' to me.

dont think thats the case here. chelsea will need to pay compensation to AVB which will cost a bomb

and even if they do, just how much Roman can spare his money to buy players to suit Mourinho?

seems like we bought AVB too fast frm porto....he admitted the players not really respecting him and he failed to be their leader...usually if coaches reveals like this its not long before they take the axe...same case as scolari before...in terms of master tactician to me no one is better than JM....

just some bits and pieces of good news that were picked up during the course of the week :

1. AVB giving his backing to betrand for today's colossal match vs utd, and i think this is what the young lad needs to hear. whether he performs well or not is a totally different matter. just as long as he gets his chance. but i'm curious though..do u guys think the gaffer means it? or is it just a show being put up, before we see bosingwa lining up on the wrong side again this season? i sincerely hope its the former.

2. apparently roman has FINALLY accepted that the inherent problem is not with the manager but the squad, which has been allowed to go stale for far too long. so we're now reaping the 'rewards' ten fold this season, and arguably last season too. word is that roman has given AVB the license to rebuild his beloved team, on a long term basis.

so does this pour cold water on the jose rumours? for me it does due to the reason being FFP rules are kicking in soon and we simply cannot afford to pay compensation to AVB, and supply a new manager with the funds needed to strengthen the team. its financial suicide, even with the billions roman has in his bank accounts. in conclusion, hold on tight because for better or for worse we're stuck with AVB for some time to come lads! smile.gif

as for the jose lovers, please just make a quick comparison between our squad and theirs and look at the amount of quality they have in every position. do u guys seriously think we'll be back to being the all conquering chelsea side without investment to secure the likes of kaka, ronaldo, benzema, higuain, ozil, alonso, marcelo, etc etc type players? if u guys do, u should receive a special award for being the most optimistic fans in world football.

A manager like Mourinho needs big financial support which is quite unrealistic once the financial fair play regulations that are set to be implemented at the start of the 2012-13 season begins. cool2.gif

AVB might be a small time manager in the Premier League but he has done or at least the club has done minimal spending during AVB tenure. As much as I hate AVB's rotation policy, AVB needs to be given chance to rebuild the squad according to his own plan. Roman paid £13 million pounds in the summer to prise Andre Villas-Boas from Porto so it would be stupid to sack him just after a season. whistling.gif

I don't expect much from Chelsea to win anything this season but what I really want by next season will be more reserved players involved in the first team and perhaps paying sensible price for new players, finding the right formation, tactics and reducing the rotation policy because it will be hard to create a consistent squad team in terms of result. icon_rolleyes.gif

As for ManU tonight, a draw would be good enough..... nod.gif

i just want to see the lads play well. they should press and attack from the start. in terms of points or result, it doesn't mean a lot to me right now. top 4 is our priority...

If I had to choose between lifting the BPL title this year (which is almost impossible) or thrashing UTD at Stamford Bridge... I would choose the latter. Hope I'm not the only one whistling.gif

Referee reputation not important, as long as that day referee performance is good.

Hope Sturridge can start firing in goals again.
