Same case. When I use 2G (with checked roaming option of course), GNex shows 'R'. All the time, wherever I go. That wont happen with 3G/H. But even with the R sign, internet will be there; if the area has good reception. Usually in the open or high level building. I'm forced to use 3G most of the time. Weird..

It is confirmed that mkkd is better for my area with digi.

I tried flashed back to xxkk6 and run speedtest, got around 400-500 only, then flashed to mkkd, managed to get 900-1000.

So it is totally depends on ur coverage area

if it shows UMobile2g and with a r, then it means u roam with celcom.
It won't charge us extra other than normal rate as UMobile is partnering with celcom.

if it shows other operators then u will hv extra charge.

try check at UMobile website

So if I flash stock rom which will wipe everything including things in SD, how to restore the backup?

not all area get 3g all the time.

If it shows R and is under UMobile2g then it is fine should be no extra charges on top of what you subscribed.

backup everything. and only restore user apps.

system data is useful only if u r restoring on same device, same/similiar rom. if u change from one custom rom to another, restoring system apps might give u a lot of fcs.

soon already, today afternoon just ask my dad called ask stock

volume is not strong but you can use volume+ apps should be problem solve
