The white GNex is stock white, the black one with SGP case is with cover.

The 2 functions that make the Galaxy Nexus special, NFC and WiFi Direct, do not have built-in clients on the Galaxy Nexus.

You can't create an NFC tag with the Galaxy Nexus on its own (possible with app, but must be in foreground).
You also can't engage directly with another phone via WiFi Direct (now, at least).

I'm also quite bummed how you can't pair two phones' Bluetooth connection via NFC. As of now you can only send links via Android Beam. Kinda lame if you ask me.

i wonder izit the rom restricted the option or the device itself dun have the hardware for wifi direct        make my life so difficult to transfer big things between my GalNote and GalNex. if got wifi direct then everything done within poof.

This benchmarking method of mine told me that Franco's kernel really doesn't match APEX kernel's performance in this. Both lags though APEX saves more battery.

Is it normal for my phone to use about 350-400mb of ram when i am not using it? Is there ways to minimise the usage because my phone feels abit laggy at times..

no la.. my cover got red pock mark becoz of nilkin case.. 

Is there any cheap SP which can help to resist finger prints and oil? Since I using Melkco Jacka case, I not going to get a better SP.

how many of you guys have dead pixel/s on ur Gnex? need to know if this is a common issue for AmoLED, or i'm just being unlucky ?

If Kopitiam and Garage Sales included as post count, i believe everybody got millions stars and become senior member within weeks. Imagine you just need to post "best price pls" in Garage Sales and then go off chatting in Kopitiam ~~LOL~~

thanks to the shop i got it from (directd subang), they simply swap the faulty one i got last nite with a diff clean set...
so far, this is the best shop that deals with AP set i ever dealt with.. before this, once I walk out from the shop, watever happens, they wont even consider swapping.. straightway, masuk repair centre..

hopefully, my new gnex stays clean from dead pixels as long as possible...

im using franco kernel right now together with aokp... tried android hd revolution b4... felt that one is better for me..

yesterday is the day that i finally started to use it like normal phone instead of spare phone. and i find it lacks a lot of user-friendly features. or mayb u can say i have to adapt my user pattern in order to fit into ICS. for example in GalNote/ SGSII i can easily swipe at a contact to left for messaging or to right for calling. on GalNex? swipe will bring u to another tab. wifi direct is another thing without answer. no doubt the UI received facelift, and there's some positives in it. but in the end, it caused much more dissatisfaction to me instead of surprises. might because of the high expectations i put on it. but this is google flagship. shudnt be so depressing right? just my opinion. dont get influenced by my judgment though.

finally my gnex is ready for collection.. hopefully the nfc issue has been fixed..... will go collect by tomorrow...
