What is normal RAM or memory usage? Currently my RAM usage is around 480MB. Is it normal? I use advanced task killer to monitor and kill my apps.
*
almost same with mine. 484MB here. and I don't use any advanced task killer and no worries.
you having any issue?

Yes. Sometimes my phone lag a bit. After playing heavy game like Asphalt, it will lag a bit. The transition animation between homescreen a bit slow and laggy. Just now now it stucks between homescreen. Need to lock n unlock it to unstuck it.
*
I do play Asphalt6 and no issue after playing it. maybe you can tell more where you come from? like stock rom? root? or any custom rom or kernel? BTW, I'm using Apex 1.02 + Apex v5 kernel = I'm satisfied.

hows M3+franco? any idea.
*
tested M2 and build 2x before with franco. overall very good too.
both rom are equally good, but kernel I still prefer Apex v5 as I like the voltage control. almost in perfect margin, no need to tweak anymore.

Only Android HD Revolution + Apex Launcher. At first everything smooth. Now it is laggy. Maybe because I install and uninstalled too many apps?
*
how many apps you have, I don't think that's a root caused. did you adjust CPU, use SetCPU or any similar tools for tweak? maybe try other launcher first for monitoring.

Many. Install until my drawer reach 6 pages. But then uninstall until down to 4 pages. No I did not adjust the CPU. Can you suggest any alternative launcher? I think Apex is lightest compared to Go and AWD.
*
ok la, I got 16 pages. the rom I'm using now, it's bundled Trebuchet launcher. Beside this, you can try Nova, also very good.

So, it "yakju" or "non-yakju' ...  rclxub.gif

Got it from SEP.
*
if you confirm you see it's show "yakjuxw" then your set is not yakju set. is not google build.
please don't worry, you can change to yakju.

Guys wanna ask

Last nite I try AOSP and Bigxie. Found out whenever I click option like display, apps, battery, sound at setting page, it takes time to respond. The lag is quite noticeable. This not happen when I use Android Revo HD. Is it normal?
*
AOKP & Bigxie tested here, no lag and it's immediate response.

is this consider ontopic? new motorola phone with intel platform

http://www.lowyat.net/v2/index.php?option=...d=6232&Itemid=2
*
off topic. but nvm. personally, motorola is not my cup of tea. I guess Intel sure gave moto many rebate or R&D sponsor to beg moto introduce intel powered smartphone and tablet. bad move for moto.... shakehead.gif
but their accessories very good; SE also great. bit disappointed when see other brands have their great accessories launch together with phone while compare to our GNex, where is the docking and desk stand? doh.gif In design, compare with moto HD dock and SE LiveDock, GNex dock are doh.gif

Intel are trying to fight in mobile market, ARM just whistling.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif no worries at all...
Intel failed in power management and GPU in their SoC. Intel are getting harder to success in mobile market as AMD now also move their direction to mobile market. another x86 competitor, haha... By next year, AMD target to launch 1st Gen of SoC. for this year, we might see Bobcat powered tablet appear first; MSI already show the prototype tablet running in Android.

hi all

anyone know how to block airpush ads on a unrooted GNEX?

i downloaded adblock but dont really know how to configure it

thanks biggrin.gif
*
if not mistaken, adblock doesn't block airpush ads. there is workaround shared before, but it's doesn't work for me.
I just download Lookout Push Ad Detector to scan which bad apps carrying airpush, just remove it. All bad apps I got mostly from the local dev: Kelvin KYChan. all his apps included airpush and now, all his apps no longer found in market.

ok, we all know we have build in Portable Wi-Fi hotspot. as easy as turn on in our setting, then any wifi enable device/system can connect to our phone. and we also Wi-Fi direct, so what is Wi-Fi direct?

as the video show, you got the general idea but how it works? 1 of the easy example: DLNA
if you have DLNA device like TV, AVR, etc... you can try download Skifta from market. your photo, video, music from your phone can direct shoot to your DLNA device, very convenient thumbup.gif
