all I can say is superb display! pity didn't clean sheets though. no keeper can save Hunterlaar's goal.

they not only score among themselves, even the assists are created among themselves. i hope they can be the best attacking trio for this season.

Worth staying up for, good playing.. although Xabi's game was a bit off, it was overshadowed by beautiful football. Even Huntelaar's goal was wow.

Sacrificed sleep for this match and man was it worth it.
Fantastic team performance all round. We were organised and compact, and clinical up front. Possibly Bale's best performance this season. I still can't get over the goal he scored. The skill and audacity to get pass 3 defenders was sheer class.

And a special mention to Di Maria who I admit haven't been one of my favourite players to put on the white shirt. Playing in supposedly not his natural position, he's now playing more consistently than I can ever remember. He's not giving the ball away cheaply like before and his dribbling ability and acceleration just gives us another dimension in the centre of midfield. Kudos to him and Carlo for putting him there.

and he also helps to cover for xabi lack of pace if we were susceptible to counter at times. the position suits him perfectly. free role to attack and the ability to help out on defense without stretching the midfield three

3 different type of midfield we had.. fast - de maria, normal - modric, and xabi - slow.. heheh.. with all 3 capabe to do so called split-defender-pass and they are really complement each other.. very well balanced.

2-2 is a fair result for both team. we could have played much better, but in a derby it is really hard to play our game though.

indeed.. me tot the same too.. his response were waaayyy to slow.. IMO.. both goals possible to be saved, especially 2nd one. DL Should have save it..

anyway, very physical game.. draw was a good result. we still maintain at the top. Barca next keep current form.. i believe we will lift the trophy by the end of the season.

1st goal was due to poor marking, leaving Koke so much space to shoot. And a powerful shot that was.
2nd goal I also thought that Diego Lopez would've made the save. Maybe his view was blocked or simply slow reaction.
Excellent derby, so fiery and much physical involved. Even the assistant coach wanna have a go at the ref. Xabi Alonso got kneed at the back.

Pepe's drama was the negative thing from the match. And we can see how much difference RM's game when Marcelo and Carvajal went in. Coentrao and Arbeloa just doesn't suit RM tempo and play style at the moment, unless Ancelotti wanna go defensive.

we can put one of them arbeloa or coentrao but not both because it causes us to lose so much width and extra man in attack

casillas should play for the classico soon i guess..no more lopez for big matches such as classico and derby,,first half was a bit slow..when coentrao out then marcelo in..it seems like more support on attacking..suppose to get in carvajal and marcelo earlier..hoping for 3 points but ya..it is ok..focus on next matches..but the rivalry is great..costa n ramos keep on hitting each other..hahahaha
