Im shifting to apartment soon.

Will the postman walk up/ take lift to your doorstep and deliver the parcel?

yup... they willl... have been receiving my pos laju at my doorstep in my apartment for as long as i can remember.

Cool, i thought they'll just drop a pickup card at the Ground floor.

What floor are you on anyways?

(My opinion is based on other people's experience)

Sometimes it depends on the delivery person. Lazy ones no need to see they will just drop the note into your mail box, but usually those items that needs to be signed e.g. registered mail/Pos Laju they will go to your unit one.

Ahh, hopefully they won't be lazy

Need signature? if yes then he is responsibities use to go up and knock your door and give your parcel and get your sign

If place without lift, they just leave the note... if got lift they will go up la...

Postman never knock my door if I use my own house address. Normally I use my mom address.

it depends..

at my home (6th floor so got lift) they will come at my doorstep (pos laju)

at office (3rd floor no lift) myeg delivery will call ask you to come down n pick the good and as for Pos Laju they climb up to 3rd floor.

speaking from experience,
for poslaju, the postman will deliver it to ur door.
as for reg post and normal post, if the item doesn't fit into ur mailbox, they'll leave a notice and ask u to collect from pos offce.

Pos Laju = Doorstep
Pos Ekspress = Mail Box
