I actually got my singapore job with malaysia HP number and malaysia address.
maybe the job is low class,so they don't mind dialling international number.

How did the GM know all of that (adaptable, flexible.....)in 30 minutes time, it bothers me.

can't you just ask Taxi e-voucher from the company? You don't have to buy a new car and the company don't have to pay you transport allowance.good deal for both of you and the company.
