QUOTE(Find The Way @ Apr 7 2012, 08:46 AM) Maybe.. QUOTE(deodorant @ Apr 7 2012, 11:16 AM) wtf is there to be scared of? you try, if you get a job then good, if you don't get a job what do you lose? Errr.. Maybe my time? Most of my friends already learn many things during internship except me.. i dont want to waste my time anymore.. no penalty. QUOTE(heavenhell @ Apr 7 2012, 09:10 PM) No need scared la , just apply and send out ur resume to those companies here. i always have low confidence with myself especially in a new environment.. And.. i can become easily tearful if anyone were to scold me.. i am way too sensitive.. Im also came here working as a fresh grad |

QUOTE(deodorant @ Apr 8 2012, 02:30 AM) Finding a new job in home country vs finding new job in foreign country, obviously it is more likely that it will be more difficult and/or take longer in a foreign country. If you don't want to work in SG bad enough to be willing to take that risk, then just stay in your hometown and don't bother lor. If you're a guy and you cry just cos someone tells you off, then you gotta get in control of your emotions damn quick, cos all you need is one tearful episode and everyone in the office will know you as the dude who cried (and not for any of your accomplishments). QUOTE(seantang @ Apr 8 2012, 10:52 AM) If you're a guy... seriously... don't cry in public especially not at work. Unless someone very, very close to you is dying... or you are dying (in which case you can do whatever the heck you want). ohh.. I'm a female.. Anyway it's never wise to go to extremes in the office. Don't be extremely sad, emotional, angry, happy, comfortable, free wheeling, reserved, excited, honest, dishonest, passionate, indifferent etc. Keep everything in moderation and within reason. Your reputation and credibility will thank you for it. |
