It has been 10yrs now for me at work in SG.

i felt d same feeling living in SG aft 4yrs too vmad.gif . me, instead go back kl shakehead.gif , i opt to re-locate to jb and cummute daily.
aft a year renting a room, then moved in own home as single, then bring in a partner to share, then & then till got no time to get bored...

I opine, one will feel less bored if you change your living enviroment from time to time, specially after you owned a home, your mind & time will get very occupied besides work sweat.gif .

written requirement is NO but from countless experiences from my parents (once) & friends (4occasions), 5-4months before expiry for malaysians seem ok to singapore.

i did ask but the officer replied eer..er "off-record" - min 3mths for malaysians.

so i wld say, if you got no time to renew passport, 5-months worth the "try"

So back to the question on the 6 months validity, personally I've been entering SG with less than 2 months validity. However, I was an EP holder. So for his case, it depends on the type of pass as well. If it's a WP or EP or even PR, I think its legit. If using the white card, a traveler would have a different story.

The rules are references and if the guy caught by police, the rules would cbe act as a basis. Not to mention successfully entering within 6 months doesnt mean problem free when exiting. The rules comply as well. If custom at the entering point let him in, the custom at exit point might lock him up.

Well, ICA allow malaysian to bring in m'sia bought rokok (1packet less 1 stick) but NEA will catch you smoking non-SDPC rokok & issue saman in the republic rclxub.gif doh.gif
