only PR and SG citizen require SG license to drive cars in spore.... EP holders can drive msian cars in here.

my coll told me.. just submit msian driving license and NRIC can register for the written test adi. if pass then can convert.

this is true and not true... if you read lta rules correctly, u are only allowed to drive using your msia driving license for the 1st year, anything more than that you need to convert to SG license.
but the reality is, they won't bother to check you if you are driving a msia registered car. But to be safe, better get your self a SG license.

Risking pr-ship and opportunity to eat curry rice, just to drive a msian car in sg? Not worth the thought at all.

if u value ur contractual bonuses over ur basic... then u completely lost the big picture.... are u doing sales? else it doesnt matter, matter is ur basic. thats why they call it bonus "something extra" .... if ur take home pay is squat then better stay in msia with that comfy RM6.2k .... don't do the conversion game until u identify wats the odds of living here.

Many sg companies like to tekan msians... playing the conversion card is common, thats why most msians experienced can take salary SGD2.k when sg fresh grad adi opening salary SGD3k +/-

Hi guys. Got some question here. Im going to graduate this july and plan to work in SG in finance sector (prefer investment sector). I am 22 years old and holding a bachelor in finance only.
just wondering do i have any chance to work in investment sector in SG? Despite the salary (as long as i wont died of hungry) its ok for me.
Anyway i graduated from local university, UUM : (

Have u tried all job sites in sg? Have u engage agents in sg? Are jb-lang? Closed all ur doors in msia?

oh i see.... 4.0 in UUM not really a big deal anyway. Then if work in msia for example OSK or as any front desk trader then only go singapore, is that a good decision to make?
*
fresh grad should keep options open... ur looking for a job mode, shouldn't limit just sg... msia? u need to consider what is the right package to meet ur needs, plus i assume u are not attached so the decision to move or relocate can be done easily. Just hantam la.... all is fair game.

yalo yalo, not attached XD erm... will look for msia also, but really wish to go somewhere far away and see since still young ma. Think of SG can give me a better salary also, haha.
Do you recommend to stay in SG to look for a job or just send my CV will do?
*

SGD1.5k =.='' ok la, thank you so much for your help : ) really appreciate that.

Don't take it too hard... just that much u need for makan minum, plus some emergency buffer (sgd200) ...
it's risky.. coming for 2-3 months look for job coz no guarantee, if ur friend allow u to stay 2-3months in their places.
SG got strict in house rules for tenants ..sad.gif

crossing the causeway is not much of a problem if you using 2nd link. The only headache is the expressway, especially AYE & PIE, always jammed on weekdays peak hours. You have to hit the expressway latest by 7am to avoid unnecessary delay.

noted... how about return SG -> gelang patah?
