Basically cab fares will cost extra around the clock, especially on weekends.
*
in fact i think weekend is better because there's no 25% for morning peak hour, 6am-9.30am

But the peak is in the evening for weekends, honestly the window slice is so small for non-additional charges when riding a cab here. I used to enjoy the occasional cab ride but now is confine to when im in a hurry to go to a meeting place that i never been before or riding with my gf whenever she can claim them.
*
the peak 25% in the evening is for all days, not only weekend.

Travelling by MRT is saving time? You got a car, know parking is not convenience? So what if earn a lot, how they spend is non of your f#%*ing business anyway. Yeah, ozone hole is the only hole you know. thumbup.gif

I am not too sure about how to extend my visa to long term while I'm looking for a job in SG.
I was told I have to exit and enter again every 2 weeks, or no?

Having some interview scheduled next month...so I will just go there straight regardless of interview outcome and continue job hunting until I get one.

Please enlighten me on this. Thanks nod.gif

In developed countries, bikes are the same as cars. They ride within the lane and queue within the lane just like everyone else. There's no squeezing or weaving between cars like in 3rd world countries. Simply makes it safer for everyone on the road.

i believe there are such rules in the Singapore road as well. Just that ppl conveniently forgot about it. And Malaysian motorcyclist are among the worst lot in the world, including Taiwan and China.

Is there high paying iPhone production related jobs in SG that offer 2.8k for a fresh poly grad?

A technician candidate said her friend got the offer and asking why she gets much less than that.

When I heard the story, the image of china Foxconn appear in my mind.

the is no iPhone production or assembly line in Sg, only support.

Just for myself, i rather waste money in Malaysia as it will be more as with the power of exchange. Food and a lot of things is much more cheaper back home. Probably the reason is i going back everyweek and thus why lead me to have such believe.  laugh.gif
*
If you talking about normal food, then there is nothing really to 'waste' in the first place. I'm talking about fine food, which I don't see much in KL. It's even hard to get a good japs restaurant, other than one found in JB.

Oh yeah. Kimpachi doh.gif ! Could you believe that they actually substitute the Japs red beans with local red beans for one of their dessert ? A totally turn off. Swear never go that place again. Jogoya is buffet lar bang.
In Sg you could try Shima at Good Wood Park hotel. Check with the chef and ask what kinda stuff they have flown in from Japan. Also a must try is their Japanese tofu thumbup.gif , a must try !
