In my opinio, I don't enjoy playing many Ibanez-es much, especially the Prestiges because of the "flat" neck, as compared to my ESP and other ESP I've played and owned before. But between the options that you've put up, namely, an RGA Prestige versus the Schecter Omen and the C1, I believe the Prestige may be a way more satisfying guitar. If your budget can't reach the Prestige pricepoint, do consider the new Ibanez Premium line.

additional information here, im looking for a guitar without tremolo/floyd rose . coz im not into guitar solo type hence im more in guitar riffing and technical stuff.

yesterday i go to bentley damansara and look around on Ibanez section, try to do some survey which guitar suitable to me. i found an Ibanez DN530K *i think* (purple color) that match with my style (the weight, design, the curve neck just like LP) BUT im not tested it.!!!!! im afraid if i call the assistance and tested it out consider that i would buy it on the spot.! i still haven't test yet on schecter. oh mai oh mai......

Yes, that was what i tot, but i still haven't try Schecter guitar and for now i try to collect all of you guys opinion first, adding my knowledge about both brands.

Not all Schecter necks are chunky. For instance, the earlier C-1 models have thinner necks, suitable for most Asian grips. Sales plug or what, you are free to test mine. See my sig.

if u use china mari les paul oso can get good sound lor...depends on ur setting & ur gear also...

btw, go for ibanez

my friend use gibson LP custom china mari, change pickup to duncan, a liitle bit setting here and there, can fool people lorr..... fuhhhh~
