Who else faces problems with their rear brakes giving out "tak tak tak" sound when slow braking or braking near to stop? Please share what have done with it, or how/which SC try to rectify it?
*
nothing done whistling.gif haha.. 1st appeared when really hard braking just to test. kaw2 bunyi. then later after long distance drive, slow braking.. seems ok. there's still 'tak tak tak' sound for heavy braking but i jz don't want to spend time got to sc to rectify the problem, coz from this forumer experience, the problem can't easily be settled by sc

Oh. That is why after my first session at Proton Edar SC Malacca. The sound became louder than before I sent for rectification. So actually I wonder what did they rectify which took 4 hours on my Saturday and still nothing achieved!

So I called Proton I care and made a request to change the brakes altogether. I refuse to go for another recitification session as they cannot actually rectify it. So the customer care actually called Proton Edar SC Malacca, as they called me later in the afternoon to send my Saga for them to check.

My question to them is will they straight away change for me or just "rectify" again. I haven't gone there but I will surely demand for them to change instead of just "rectifying" nothing.
*
as expected, so this is still ongoing. someone here mention to change the brake cylinder/pump. u can demand them to change that, cost below 50.

they can change FOC only if u hv guts, else they'll try to rectify, they also want profit ma

Huzaifa136, can i know how the improvement once you install the package Fender SP. It is for front only or front and back? thanks
*
noise from front tyre reduced 80-90% i can say. no more tin kosong like sound. so can hear music clearer than before. mind you that once the sound from fender eliminated (which i think the loudest), u can clearly hear the engine and road noise. but not on low speed, only at high speed. i'm thinking of floor soundproofing later. wind noise also visible but tolerable. this modding things really can burn ur wallet tongue.gif

dun wan speed during rain... that day almost crash... sad.gif

i'v experience a weird situation twice, when speeding (high rev), esp overtaking, the car seems to steer to left. actually my car alignment is a bit off to left but not that much or noticable. mybe i didn't hold the steering tight enough laugh.gif

Sooo... after 3 hours of waiting, I drove out the SC with a pair of brand new drumbrake sets. They also tightened my handbrake, which was loosen previously at the Sri Petaling SC to prevent the brake from jamming, and the freeplay of the brake pedal is reduced. I think they also replaced the brake fluid as well.

The service advisor told me the vendor sent a total of ONE technician to do replacements on 3 cars. doh.gif Hopefully this will be the last time I'm gonna hear from my drumbrakes, literally.
Congratz bro, when's the delivery?
*
great for u and for us forumer to know their solution. keep updating the aftermath tongue.gif
so total how many man hours? or days? from 1st complain on the drums

From start got sound until today, 1 month, give or take a couple of days. Much of the delay was caused by CNY and the subsequent public holidays and the service advisor responsible for my case taking 1 blardi week off.
not too bad actually.

btw, today finished install spring buffer for front, last saturday did for the rear. handling way better, less body roll. but it seems that for my car when hit lubang or uneven surface, it's like getting harsher ride (4 being less bouncy). not sure or mybe it's just my feeling. probably the same as before.

as for rear suspension/drum problem, when i goyang2 to work the absorber, got sound like 'krek krek', while braking to stop also got sound but not that loud.
is both drum and absorber problem?

You did the rattle man

I'm a Saga and I know it

some people just used to it, some are not
who knows what's in the head of the driver of cars that rattle worst than saga? tongue.gif

starting from flx with a stiffer spring, the rattle may become obvious than blm,

i wonder what future improvement for saga in terms of interior fitting and suspension/handling brows.gif
