QUOTE(17osm17 @ Feb 4 2012, 03:33 PM) I used sachs super touring on my rear absorber for 2 months. Harder than OEM. But, I didnt like it. Car feels sooo bouncy after install. Like driving lorry kind of feeling. 1 person driving bouncy, fetch 4 people also bouncy. Not comfortable, and i don't find cornering stability much improvement. After 2 months usage, still bouncy. NOT RECOMMENDED by me. So does that mean those beemet are using diff sachs, how much is karabakh excel g?An hour ago, I went to another mechanic to change to Kayaba Excel-G. Immediately so much difference. Ride feels comfortable. No bounce at all compared to Sachs. Good replacement for OEM. If you want comfort, i recommend kayaba excel G. Does the bouncy effect absorb impact better? |

anyone encounter same problem as I do?
When im driving on highway speed above 90km/h can feel already. when aircon kick in, you will slightly felt a jerk (this is normal). but my case, I felt the jerk and also a sound (like "CIT", sound like the blow off sound). what i assume must be when the aircon kick in,the mechanical part on the fan make such noise. plan to have it rectified at my 20k service. another 2.5k to go. |

QUOTE(zeone @ Feb 19 2012, 01:08 PM) Probably a "slipping" belt? wow..so fast tested only happen at speed above 80km/h. will leave it to the sc to handle it when i do 20k service.Caused by sudden load when aircon pulley is engaged to compressor? If can re-enact sound with car stationary but revving engine to similar rpm, then spraying belt with water wld identify/confirm it. |

so many bar, wouldnt it spoil the absorber faster?
btw for the headlight problem, I face it too when i got my car & I went to SC to have it change, they fit in a new unit for me. for autofoam, only do undercarriage and it will be sufficient, dont do whole package. |
