change to silicon . N make sure they don't apply gasket gum. If they want, just make sure the male connector is sand clean, or else it will leak again

ok lah if it's already normal. Seal for gasket. some mechanic will use it. the old residue is still on the male connector. Normally its advisable to clean it then just clip connect. if it leaks, adjust the clip position willl do. if it still leaks then you have no choice but to use the adhesive seal to seal the hose.
