Techron is supposedly an engine cleansing additive. In the US the techron additive is sold separately, here i think dun have, only in their petrol.

I dare say these are isolated cases. i haven't seen anyone in this thread having that serious problems, only minor ones. And these guys could be the first batch and did not go for the recall to update the CVT system..
