Guys,
I just want to share with you on how you can Add custom carrier logo to IOS5.0.1 (Maxis, DG, Celcom,hotlink etc). I had made a Maxis logo by using photoshop. If someone can contribute DG, Celcom etc.. you are always welcome. Since i am Maxis user.. So only Maxis logos is available for now. Forgive me on my limited photoshop skill.. Here is how you can change your carrier logo it.

1.) Go to Cydia and install Zepplin
2.) Once done, you can find it located at Setting- Zepplin-Theme (by default, there are few theme out there)
3.) Here is how you can create your own theme (I created Maxis).
4.) Use ifile to CREATE a folder call "Maxis"
/Library/Zeppelin/Maxis
5.) Download Maxis logo from the link below and unzip it.Copy all these file named Maxis log.black, black@2x, etched, etched@2x, silver, silver@2x to the maxis folder.

6.) Select the Maxis theme that you have created and respring.. You are done. Hope you enjoy it! You feedback is much appreciate.

P/S: If u use Makeitmine from Sbsetting to change your carrier name. Pls check it back to default. Else, it won't works

failed la bos..but the logo already appear at zappelin menu..

Yes. Works on 4 & 4S as well. Did u have rename your carrier name by using makeitmine in Sbsetting? It will not work if u did. Pls set back to default name. If u follow the steps correctly. It will works. Else pls print screen from ifile the directly & file in Library/zeppelin/Maxis.

I didnt install makeitmine..but already turn off my fake operator..when i remove fake operator my carrier change to 'ttt' not MY MAXIS

i got mine to work after uninstalled fake operator =D

boss, no offense, but new logo is like as below lar, you posted the old maxis logo.. If can use below as reference and make updated logo can? thanks.

and make it 10-15% smaller so that it would look more 'middle aligned' than 'lower aligned'



for ppl who can't see the difference, the new logo has its 'a' more curved and its 's' slimmer, and the spacing between 'i' and 's' has increased.

at first i struggle to change the carrier by replacing files in the carrier bundle. none had work. until few days ago zeppelin is released and it works like a charm

so meaning in order to make it work we need to uninstall makeitmine first?

no one has a DiGi symbol out yet eh

Now my Zeppelin was crash already...sad to hear that lol...

What happened bro? I just downloaded the added pack, more logo. so far is stable.

Dont know...Last night was restore back my iphone 3gs...
Then jailbreak it again...
Try to install Zeppelin,it crash already...
On my iphone 4s,it working like normal...

it sounds like your jb got problem. Restore and jb again your 3gs. Try using redsnow b4 instead of latest ver.

Just restore ios 5.0.1 now...wait for jailbreak...i using b5 got problem...
before this using b3 no problem...but on b3 i found cydia loading slow...b5 fast...hihi....

btw sugen, it's Zeppelin.

Anyway, i tried installing in my ipon4 5.0.1 JB. Caused it to crash. Tried multiple times and still crashes.

The new update keep crashing my springboard. Now have to uninstall it. No more custom logo for now

Why not use Winterboard to theme it? Here's how i do it.

Did u include @2x into the filename? At first i change the logo directly inside the carrier bundle, replacing the original logo, but it does not work. After seeing unusual post above, i renamed them and include @2x at the files and amazingly i got my custom carrier logo back!

You are aware this is not a method to replace DiGi stock images that comes with your phone right? If i recall correctly, he got the directory/path from me and that is by replacing images method, not this. Also, please check if any typo (case sensitive).

Edit: Windows don't handles extension very well, just rename your theme folder without any extension will do.

owh. lemme retry. cos i renamed it according to the file names in digi.my bundle

erm i tot it was. cos i asked him if his logo is via winterboard theming or direct insertion. he said was direct copy via ifunbox. i assumed it was :/

Don't do direct insertion anymore, you can have more carrier logo themes and change it whenever you want in Winterboard with my method shown above.

done, it worked.

mind to share how to do the same for Signal bars and Wifi + 3G/EDGE?

The Signal Bar and Wifi icon is from Dark Ho][ow theme (Paid), but if you'd like to make your own it's basically the same method.
