Hi guys,
Currently I am a research assistant in my local uni (undergoing internship tbh), upon finishing my intern, I plan to continue as master student in my local uni. Right now I'm applying for masters in my uni, waiting for the offer letter.

Once I get the offer letter and my proposal done, submitted to MyBrain15, how long will it take them to process my application?

I'm in the midst of applying for MyBrain15 master.

In the Senarai Semak Dokumen Permohonan Program MyBrain15, what is number 10 (Tiga (3) salinan Perjanjian yang telah dilengkapkan dan dimatikan setem), I could not find this Perjanjian form through out their website.

oh shyt! I've just tried logging into the new website. My log in is still valid and what i filled in is still there. The interface and the forms all stll looks the same. So I don't think I need to do any major changes like downloading the forms again right?

Just checked, the forms are still all the same. Does it means that I just need to send my application through the new website instead of the old 1?

Hi guys, my master registration is on 17th of this month. Just wanna ask if I pay the fees by my own first. Then later when my Mybrain15 scholarship application is successful, can I claim back the fees by sending them a copy of the receipt?

The date that I wrote in tarikh mula pengajian is 17th Feb. 17th Feb is also the registration date.

Finally, for those that did the application on Feb, I think the result is out. I did my application on Feb and the result is out.

Just 1 question though.

Bahagian Biasiswa of what? They didn't state properly. Bahagian Biasiswa of KPT or my uni? Should be KPT right?

Just wanna ask, usually how long does it take for MyBrain to reimburse the fees that u've paid previously before getting the scholarship?

For my first semester's fees, I've paid using my own money 1st. Then last week my application got approved. I've printed out all the documents needed and posted all the documents to MyBrain's office.

I've ask my uni's bursary when I gave them a copy of the MyBrain offer letter. She simply say will bank in to our bank islam and it also depends on MyBrain. Have to wait. She say if 1 sem later still didn't get, then need to call them (MyBrain). Have to wait 1 semester? Or is there any process to speed up to claim back my 1st sem's fees?

Any UMP-ians here?

How do you know when is the upcoming allowance? Is it stated in the website?

I went to my uni's bursary and ask again last week. They ask me to fill in 1 form for claiming. Then today I went and check again, the person say UMP has done it's part and claiming from KPT. Now nid to wait for KPT's side.

Guys. About this statement,

Permohonan dibuka sepanjang tahun mulai 1 Disember 2010 hingga tahun 2015.

Meaning until 31.12.2014 then cannot apply for MyBrain already? Or is it until 31.12.2015? If exceed the date already, will this MyBrain plan be extended? Any news on it?

My supervisor and evaluator suggested me to apply for PHD conversion from Masters. I've written my thesis for my faculty. Now waiting for my faculty to have the postgrad meeting, after that need to wait for Senat meeting. Then only we can get the result if we can be converted to PHD. I'm afraid when I get the Masters to PHD conversion letter then the MyBrain offer finish already.

If I could not get financial support, I can't see anyway for me to convert.

So I think for 2015, MyBrain15 will continue to be funded. Not sure 2016 will it continue to be funded. But I think most probably they will extend the scholarship or rename it. Since The Government has introduced MyBrain15 Programme to produce 60,000 PhD holders by 2023.

Guys, I have some questions, my supervisor offered me to continue my PHD under him again. And he offered me 1.8k per month using his grant.

So the question is, can i apply MyPHD's elaun sara hidup after accepting 1.8k per month from my sv?

Can I get elaun sara hidup + sv's allowance under the same title?

Is there any clause in MyPHD stating that if u receive allowance from sv, then cannot apply for elaun sara hidup?

Or is it possible to alter my research title a bit and avoid the clause and receive money from both side?

met my supervisor yesterday. To my surprise, he said MyBrain will be continued. I ask him for his source, he said he heard from HitzFM radio the other morning. He did mention that he felt weird when they announce the budget 2016, MyBrain was not mention. But he say after hearing HitzFM announcement, MyBrain SHOULD continue next year.

But then take this with a pinch of salt. I duno how legit is the source.

Guys, is it possible to extend the tempoh pembiayaan for MyMaster by 1 semester?

I'm currently formatting my thesis, then after that just wait for pre-viva and viva. And I just noticed my tempoh pembiayaan on MyBrain's surat tawaran shows that it will end on 2 FEB 2016!

My dad is retired and my mum is not working.

I saw this in the Surat Tawaran by MyBrain15.

3.3 Pelanjutan Tempoh Pembiayaan
KPT hanya akan membiayai yuran pengajian dalam tempoh yang telah ditetapkan
sebagaimana Surat Tawaran Program. Sebarang pelanjutan melebihi tempoh tersebut perlu
mendapat kebenaran secara bertulis daripada KPT.

So does that mean I need to write a letter physically to KPT? I tried email them, but it says this.
