U need to reset ur MyMaster because u applied with MyBrain15 before. After u reset then u can apply for MyPhD.

I applied 3 months before the end of my study (as stated in the extension form). I had waited almost 6 months already. Every month I called mybrain to follow up on my application but it's still under process.

OK I've talked to the staff in Treasury office and she said since my extension is not confirm by mybrain yet, I must pay with my own money. Once I get the approval of the extension from mybrain, send a copy of the approval letter together with the payment receipt to the Treasury office to claim back the money.

Hi, I just received offer letter from IPTA and the registration date is September. Would like to ask when should I start applying MyMaster ?

Should I start applying now or need to wait until registered ?

apply now, no need to wait until registration, it'll take a few months to be processed anyway. your offer letter is a strong enough basis for your application

I waited 6 months like you too until I had the chance to meet the person-in-charge personally. Right after that, within a week after I met him, my application for the extension was approved. If I had met him earlier, then they would have approved it much earlier.

If you ever have the chance to meet the person in charge, please do it and tell him.

Difficult to meet the person in charge since it's very far away. But I've made a call and spoke with the person in charge. He said call him again after a week to get the result.

So did your extension effective date starts at the following month after your original myphd scholarship ended? Example: Let's say your original date was from 1/1/2012 to 31/12/2014, so your first extension started on 1/1/2015?

Mine was 2 weeks, MyBrain15 said 3 weeks.

Yes, 6 months for each extension. You can only be given two extensions of 6 months each.

To apply for extension, you need

1. Your own letter (justification letter)
2. Surat rasmi from your supervisor
3. The extension application form
4. Borang Kemajuan Pelajar

Hi, how do u reset it? Have to call their hotline?

Btw, anyone knows hows the scholarship will go in 2016? I just scared that I might miss the deadline

i wish to apply for phd programme..under p1 category( full time, not working)..my concern is, what will happen if I failed my phd..I read in the website said that I need to pay back right?..then..the pay is only for fees or need to pay back also cost of living (allowance rm2300monthly)..someone here know?.
