the payment will be backdated based on your offer letter (the date you start the program). however one of my friend did not get the payment for the 1st semester.

Nota:
a. Yuran pengajian tidak melebihi RM10,000 untuk keseluruhan tempoh pembiayaan yang diluluskan. Yuran pengajian yang dibiayai tidak termasuk deposit, wang hemat diri dan yuran penginapan.

b. Tempoh pembiayaan dikira bermula pada semester semasa bagi pelajar yang sedang mengikuti pengajian atau mengikut surat tawaran IPT bagi yang belum memulakan pengajian.

c. Elaun Bantuan Tesis dibayar sekali sahaja sepanjang tempoh pengajian dan tertakluk kepada siling yuran pengajian yang masih berbaki.

It appears that Clause (a) has a higher priority. What is the approved “tempoh pembiayaan” stated in the agreement and “tempoh pengajian” in the Offer Letter?

I believe the most practical way is to get assistance from one of the lecturers from the department or your academic supervisor.

So I think for 2015, MyBrain15 will continue to be funded. Not sure 2016 will it continue to be funded. But I think most probably they will extend the scholarship or rename it. Since The Government has introduced MyBrain15 Programme to produce 60,000 PhD holders by 2023.

What's wrong with your kelayakan?

You are right, "tempoh pembiayaan" will be effective from the date of your online application. Haha, so don wait till last semester only apply Mybrain, thinking that government will reimburse back those payment you have made.

why didn't you apply earlier?

Hihi, bro, result not too good last time, but anyway still manage to gather more than three years experience by now.

Anyway, after checking with the officer in charge few days ago, they already revise back my appeal, and changing the result of application to positive without required me to wait for another 2 months. REALLY thanks god man. I really start to wonder how the system is working right now? Is that really having some so called "Committee" that functioning? Or perhaps, just some key persons are tabling the job right now.

But, who cares now? As long as got subsidized, that's all..

Take it easy, perhaps you can look for other sources. There are plenty out there..

I just realized that some of the documents have to be certified by Pegawai Kerajaan Kumpulan Pengurusan dan Profesional (Gred 41 dan ke atas) / Penggawa / Ketua Kampung / Ketua Masyarakat. I got my Transcript certified by the Assistance Manager of Student Registry office of my university and my offer letter is certified by the Admission Office. Is my documents valid for the application? If no, can I actually update my application once I got the proper documents?

besides, I got my Phd offer letter with my Degree. Do I still stand a chance to obtain the MyPhd? can somebody guide me please.

Are the officers who certified your documents government officers of Gred 41 or above?

I believe there might be issues concerning those who skipped a master's degree and applied for MyPhD.

You might want to clarify with MyBrain whether you are qualified to apply or not.

Hi guys, hoping someone with some experience can share a little info. According to the guide provided, the 'saksi' must be:

(i) Terdiri daripada penjawat awam/badan berkanun yang menjawat jawatan tetap daripada
Kumpulan Pengurusan dan Profesional (Gred 41 dan ke atas). Contoh pegawai badan berkanun
adalah Pensyarah, Pendaftar dan Bendahari di IPTA;

(ii) Penggawa/ Penghulu/ Ketua Kampung/ Ketua Masyarakat/ Sidang/ Pegawai Pembangunan
Mukim/ Pengerusi JKKK (Jawatankuasa Kemajuan dan Keselamatan Kampung) yang mempunyai
cop jawatan rasmi; dan

(iii) Pegawai-pegawai dalam perkhidmatan perundangan dan kehakiman seperti Majistret dan
Peguam yang berkhidmat dengan Kerajaan sahaja.


The first one includes lecturers, but seems to be only for IPTA, so lecturers or ay officers from IPTS can't be 'saksi' right? If that's the case, will be difficult for me cause I'm in IPTS.

The third one, does commissioner of oaths qualify for that?

just got all my documents sorted and found out application is closed until 31 December..FML

So the only way for me to apply is wait till next year?

I have email them.. They never answer my question and then they withdraw my application on 27th Nov 14 so that I can upload the documents again... so I got all the documents certified by Pengetua of SMK and submitted my application on 27th as well... but i found out that there is a notice which is "Sistem ditutup sementara bagi PERMOHONAN BARU (1 DIS 2014 - 31 DIS 2014) untuk kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan." on 27 nov.. im wondering they still take my application or not even I have submitted on 27th nov.

Other than that, is that anyone successfully secured the MyPhd Scholarship with a Bachelor Degree? Im currently being offered an unconditional offer letter with my Bachelor Degree. I have no Master Degree.
