Anybody here tried Leedroid 7.1.0 with SebastianFM kernel 1.4.1? Someone reported a very low battery drain with that kernel. Currently I'm using Bricked v0.851 but it seems like the battery drain is roughly around the range of 55-70mAh during phone idle/sleep. Currently on UV -50, 1512Mhz, ondemand, maxoffscr 486k, nogpuoc.

I'm currently on virtuous inquisition 4.0.1 with bricked v0.9 @1.4Ghz. So far so good, been pretty stable and fast since I'm using it as my business phone as well.

I'm not using the mail widget to sync exchange mails at the moment. In fact, virtuous inquisition is built from a sense-based rom but with most of the sense-stuffs stripped off except for the camera. They're able to repackaged in sense mail app but then some work need to be done due to dependencies with other packages. Perhaps you can try out a 3rd party mail app called K-9 Mail. I've not personally tried it but it has some pretty good reviews.

As long as you didn't install any custom recovery, that is you still have the stock recovery intact, you should have no problems doing an OTA update.

Cool! Heard a lot of good points about Anker. You got it from a SG seller in this forum? Do provide us with a review after you've tested it out ya. Now my current goal is to further reduce as much battery drainage as possible. Thanks!

Added on April 18, 2012, 11:05 pmI believe one of the reason is that they've already got their new toys to play with. Naturally they'll be spending more time on it. That's also one of the reason I'm trying out aosp and maybe cm9 soon. CM9 should be out pretty soon coz they've got new servers crunching out the builds.

Agree! Battery life seems to be improved quite a lot. I used to get around 50-60mAh of drain while the phone is idle but now I'm surprised to see figures down to 6-10mAh when the phone is idling!

I used Batter Monitor Widget to monitor the battery utilization ya.

Added on April 23, 2012, 9:40 amThe xx/xx android update will happen everytime there's a dalvik cache wipe process involved and most of the time during updates, the dalvik cache gets wiped. Not to worry as this happens only once after an update. Android is the OS platform for our phones and ICS is just a version codename which is version 4 of Android.

Oh your hp is still a virgin ... sorry for the misunderstanding ya. Did you disable fastboot and then only perform a full reboot? I'm not sure if this will help.

Oh so even if you've disabled fastboot (means it's unticked) you're still getting this? According to some people, they're facing this problem too and some of them said it's normal for the OTA. I'm using custom ROM and therefore unable to comment much ya, so sorry for that.

Make sure you have HTC's USB driver installed.

Once your phone is connected to the USB port of your PC, check the Device Manager in your Windows and see if there's an Android Device listed there. You should have an entry "My HTC" listed there.

Right click on that device with the exclamation mark, then select "Update Driver Software...", then select "Search automatically for...."
If you've installed the HTC USB drivers, it should update it to My HTC.

Perhaps you wanna try out HyperNonSense first, which is from the same dev as the HyperSensation.

You mean you have problems wiping the Hypersensation?
To flash the HyperNonSense, follow the instructions given in the 1st post of the thread step by step ya.

When you turn on your wifi, is the toggle in the ON position but then you don't see the wifi icon appearing? Is that the case?

Which kernel are you using?

For my case, after I flashed the ROM, I flashed Bricked kernel on top of it and so far so good... not sure if you wanna try a custom kernel and see if that helps, if not then perhaps you need to look into the radio instead.

Btw, I'm assuming that you S-OFFed your device using Revolutionary?

OK ... that prolly is the reason why your wifi is not working. If possible, do a complete S-OFF first.
