Hi, I have this Sensation XE (the 1 with red mesh?) that I wanted to flash with ICS.
Already flashed to HyperSensation, but there are some bugs lurking around, worst off was the wifi unusable.
Any stable/good ICS rom to recommend?

QUOTE(wlteh @ Apr 27 2012, 09:34 AM) Perhaps you wanna try out HyperNonSense first, which is from the same dev as the HyperSensation. Thanks! Downloading it now. The name is funny.

QUOTE(wlteh @ Apr 27 2012, 09:34 AM) Perhaps you wanna try out HyperNonSense first, which is from the same dev as the HyperSensation. Seems like wiping/factory reset after flashing this ROM would render it useless. Using 4EXT Recovery though, not sure if it's the recovery's problem.

QUOTE(wlteh @ Apr 27 2012, 11:46 AM) You mean you have problems wiping the Hypersensation? To flash the HyperNonSense, follow the instructions given in the 1st post of the thread step by step ya. Flashed already. Still facing the same problem. I can't seem to switch on Wifi.

QUOTE(wlteh @ Apr 27 2012, 12:14 PM) When you turn on your wifi, is the toggle in the ON position but then you don't see the wifi icon appearing? Is that the case? When I push the toggle, it state there "Turning Wi-Fi on..." while toggle remained as off. And this stays like this for good few minutes already as I typed this.

QUOTE(wlteh @ Apr 27 2012, 12:26 PM) Which kernel are you using? Didn't flash any custom kernel. Just flash the ROM only and AddOn as provided on the thread.

QUOTE(wlteh @ Apr 27 2012, 12:35 PM) For my case, after I flashed the ROM, I flashed Bricked kernel on top of it and so far so good... not sure if you wanna try a custom kernel and see if that helps, if not then perhaps you need to look into the radio instead. Btw, I'm assuming that you S-OFFed your device using Revolutionary? If bootloader still showing S-ON, does it means it's not fully S-OFF? I even flashed to ARHD, same problem with wifi. So had to make it S-OFF completely?

QUOTE(wlteh @ Apr 27 2012, 12:44 PM) OK ... that prolly is the reason why your wifi is not working. If possible, do a complete S-OFF first. The HBoot is 1.27. Any idea if it can be S-OFF without getting physical? My colleague is working on it, he said need paper clip to do bypass. lol.

QUOTE(syncguru @ Apr 27 2012, 02:47 PM) I'm afraid as far as I know, current dont have other way except physical contact... you can refer to here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...soff+hboot+1+27Got it done finally! Unfortunately, during the midst of getting Seluar-OFF, the 4EXT recovery was unable to mount sdcard partition. This post has been edited by Harddisk: Apr 27 2012, 03:10 PM

QUOTE(wlteh @ Apr 27 2012, 03:20 PM) So now your Seluar is still ON or OFF? Seluar-OFF dy. lol. But 4EXT is not able to mount /sdcard, so tried to flash another recovery in via fastboot, but failed. So much of work and energy to make this work.

QUOTE(wlteh @ Apr 27 2012, 03:39 PM) Not sure if you're able to perform adb under fastboot? Did you try adb shell mount /sdcard? Finally I don't need to flash recovery. It's the sd card partition that spoiled, probably due to the physical S-OFFing. Thank you so much for all the valuable advice.
