hi all, i just came across this thread while searching for upgrade to ics and saw that there are 100+ pages to go through. i know the procedure is in here somewhere but i have a slow internet connection and thus need help to go direct to the instruction. i hope u guys can help me out.

i have a htc sensation and i would like to upgrade it to android 4.0. can anyone be kind enough to show me how. step by step? i dont know much about android systems and am not an expert in mobile software upgrading. can teach please?

That's weird. Mine seems alright with max temp hitting 22c playing 3d games. When idling the temp goes down to as low as 11c/12c stable. Not sure if you have some wakelocks running background.

Yeah I'm currently on b5. I mean you may have some background processes running which may be causing wakelocks and preventing your phone from sleeping.

errkkk...i assume ur phone is not rooted and is on stock rom...make sure ur connected to wifi..go to setting > about phone > software update > check now...what is so hard about that..you dont have to be a programmer to do this...

If you think your stock browser could be causing it perhaps you wanna try out other browsers such as dolphin?

even with light usage of whatap i can feel the heat..and my battery drain quite fast

one of the member had one to one exchange on the spot for the loosen back cover last time, i believe they will exchange on the spot as long as with ready stock on hand.

This is normal for people who updated their phones to ICS. For now, there is not much that we can do to help. That's the one reason I changed to custom ROM.
