^that is true.. bro~ we can't update to gb 2.3.6 & sense 3.5??

the upcoming update should be ICS already...no more gingerbread...as for sense, not sure whether they will update to 3.5 or 4.0 or even stick to 3.0..dont worry, sensation is still the flagship phone, they wont neglect us..even if they does, there are always custom roms.

As for Update for ICS, Sense will 3.6 as what available in Custom Rom.

sense 4.0 with ics 4.0 sounds more matching haha.

@retsmot how to backup all the original stock stuff??

rumours saying htc is releasing sense 4.0 with ics update. still, it is rumours. nothing concrete until seeing it with own eyes.

dun know bro i told u i never root ahaha. got other experts here will answer.

Here's the step

1. Root with Revolutionary and install CWM Recovery
2. Boot into fastboot by holding power+vol down
2. Scroll down to 'Recovery' with vol down buttion and press 'power' button to choose
3. In Recovery, choose 'Backup and Restore' then choose 'Backup'
4. Let it run and you're all done

Sensation can't handle certain video files properly. I have tested. I think so far none of my MKV files are playing smoothly. Only FullHD in MP4 can play properly. Yesterday, I was streaming Game of Thrones 720p in MKV format through wifi, the video is a little jerky but watchable. Filesize is about 1.5GB. App : MX Video Player

I mean dont compare streaming vs watch directly from SD Card.

Maybe you wifi speed is slow which results in streaming jerky.

So far, watching mkv files from SD Card is very smooth for me. Even seeking the movie (jump to certain time) is smooth.

My file size approx 750mb.

Next time i will try >1GB file and see.

lol why want watch true HD movie on a phone that have 960X540p resolution. any reso bigger than that or maybe >720p is useless. for me, class 32gb is enough to watch movie with no lag (~700mb). no offense...

plus, straring on any screen closely for too long may damage your eye, like mine...

Viber is a known resource hog, it keeps your data alive even when screen is off and the background process keeps running, preventing phone from truly sleeping.

If you really want to disable the mobile connection go to Mobile Network Settings and untick "Enable Always On Mobile Data" option.

You need root access to install custom MOD to enable System Wide Beats Audio. If you're on stock, sorry but there is no solution currently.

No offense, it's a phone, and the earlier you realize this, the more at ease you will be.

Bear in mind that no matter what it cannot match up with dedicated digital cameras or DSLRs. Therefore, if you are slightly serious about taking a good picture, get a good camera.

As far as I know Nokia's N8 has the highest MP camera in phones, and pictures are good too.

Any microUSB cable will do the trick. Of course, get the okay ones, should cost around RM10-20, although I'm not really sure about the price though.

Everything plays fine for me EXCEPT mkv files. But at the end of the day life goes on and in time its really just a very small issue.
