Yup, I'm using this now as suggested by you wub.gif

But the problem is sometimes I won't be able to see the full video (i.e. it ends prematurely) and it requires VLC to play.

To add some information here, actually the Video stopped prematurely was because I was using VLC

Changed to a free and simple FLV player and it works flawlessly

Yeap video downloader....

Use VLC cannot fast foward..... FLV player can fast foward??

Not FLV player itself. I install FLV player just for the codec

I play with Media Player classic and I can fast forward or directly jump to anywhere in the progress bar smile.gif

And regarding the YouTube problem that you're suffering, I guess you're not the only one.

Some videos can be viewed very smooth, but most of them not. I then tried to use VideoDownloader extension to save the video to my HDD, and the download speed is just around 15KBps (for my 1mbps line) which is very disappointing.
