I wonder if the SCs share information on the unique problems encountered with the Forte, like the rattling sound in the dashboard...

Anyway, I'm getting funds ready to get a 2.0 Forte and I would like a good package to go with it from the SA presence in here. Please PM me.

Thanks and regards.

As promised...

This is an updated table of the car maintenance comparison cost. TS kindly update the first post. TQ

Don't think the cost table for Vios 1.5 is accurate bro, likewise for my City. My wife's Vios surely cost more than that during the major servicing.

Maybe I should compile all the receipts from the vehicle to give a more real-world scenario instead of the low estimates by the various automakers.

One thing they don't consider is the lack of attention paid during assembly of which we customers have to spend our most precious commodity - our time, to go to the SC to have it fixed.

If we can charge the automakers for these kinds of inattention, I think then we can strike a fair comparison on which automaker does make good and reliable cars.

Recently got my 2.0 from Edwin of the SK 3S. Am satisfied with the vehicle but have a few niggles:

1. Car pulls slightly to the right, which needs some looking into.

2. Power steering does not allow smooth steering on turns or corners, meaning that it kicks in strongly compared to the likes of T and H where there is progressive feedback that you know where you're headed. If this happens on an emergency brake, I think I'm going to have oversteer.

3. Brakes grip hard when I step slightly, particularly on the first trip of the day out of the house.

4. Some road noise intrusion into the cabin at 110km/h.

I hope all these can be taken care of at the first service, except for Item 4.
