Yesterday went to Kia Red Cube (near federal highway) for first 1,000km service. My windscreen got some kind like air blowing in sound when i drive above 80km and the radio reception is quite poor.

I was there waiting for 5 hours. When i pass my car key to them, they told me they have 6 car servicing now. Mine is no. 7. So, i tot will be very fast. Really regret to send there.

In the end, they can't find solution to fix that sound and say that is technical issue. They will setup appointment with technical people and need me to send back my car again. For the radio reception, they ask me to go direct to NZ Galaxy to fix it.

I complain to my SA and he help me to fix the radio reception issue. He told me not to go to Kia Red Cube to service because is very super duper slow. normally will only take 2 -3 hours max.

wow i hope u can shared with me how he resolved that?
if it can be resolved without sending back to SC....
did he turn off the AF?
*
I saw him disable something (i think is the AF and one more ) and set the country to Europe. Previous was set to Asia.

I call him just now to check any solution about the 2 channel which still have slightly bad reception, he say tomorrow will go personally to NZ Gallaxy to check or is it still under warranty. Hope will have some solutions.

The SA do it for me, but if im not mistaken it was from Ambank. I work in SG (but stayed in jb), the bank called me anyway @ office and the interview quite short. didnt believe also within 1 day all kow tim regarding loans. not sure 2.5 good deal or not coz my fren get 2.4 for his Honda. i guess different maker also different interest rates..

today might be the longest day ever for me... cant wait for tomorrow.... i think i might need to wait until next month to do about the paint... no $$$... & need to do research properly this time...
*
My loan is also from AmBank. Maybank and Public Bank rejected me and my SA help me to get loan from AMBank. Also approved in 1 day and 2.5 interest.

They promise me that they will arrange technical people to call me to setup appointment to look into my car about the noise of wind blowing in the car in 1 or 2 weeks time but no one call me. So, I called them last Friday and they told me will get the service advisor in charge to call me back immediately. I ask him why must takes them so long to set an appointment with the technical people. He told me because the technical people is having training in Korea. They only have one team running around M'sia. doh.gif

Until today, no one call me. Beh tahan!! My hubby fix the problem by himself in less than 1/2 hour. Actually he's working for another car company and he knew why and where the noise come from. We just want the Kia to fix their problem and not to void any warranty because the noise was start from the day i got my car. I've hint the service advisor that the noise come from windscreen and he insist is from engine and door. That's why they need the specialist technical team to solve it. OMG! So simple thing also can't fix it.

The Kia Red Cube Service Centre is really really unexperience, lack of knowledge and very poor service. Don't ever go there. vmad.gif

Mine is with new HU. Still not very happy with the radio reception and my GPS is not working. Key in the password/ID still can detect.

Have called the NZ Galaxy (Naza Auto Solutions) and they say can help me to fix it. Will send by this week.

How ur hubby solve the wins noise...mind to share??
*
Very simple. My hubby just add glue at the the side of windscreen area only. Make sure the type of glue is for windscreen one lah.

When they installed the windscreen, they didn't put enough glue so that's why when we drive got the wind blowing in noise even only one small hole. My hubby did it himself because he repairs accident car and know how to change windscreen also. thumbup.gif

To be frank, I think NZ Galaxy workmanship sux. Just my 2 cents.

I sent my car there 4 times to get my body kit fixed correctly. 3 times the body kit just came out. They say must do during dry day and cannot let the body kit touch water for 3 days to allow the adhesive tape to dry up. So as a workaround, the second time they fixed it, I put musking tape on top of the body kit for a week to prevent water from sipping in. Still didnt work. On the 4th time, what they did was placed more double-sided tape  sweat.gif  Well, worked till now wink.gif
*
OMG, send there for 4 time. If me, i will be really piss off. For my body kit, my hubby ordered directly from his friend (got 1K discount from SA) and fixed himself. So far ok.

Hope NZ Galaxy can fix the radio reception and GPS. Finger cross. sweat.gif

Yeap, is turn off already. I can say is 80% or more better reception compare before turning off but just trying my luck to see do they have any better other solution. brows.gif

I went it to NZ Galaxy (Naza Auto Solutions) at 12pm in Jalan 222 PJ on last Saturday. Everything is fixed in 1/2 hour. Radio reception is good now. They updated the software and told me to turn OFF all the 3 function (AF and etc.). Select EUROPE.
You may call them at 03-79600400. Operating hour is 9am - 6pm (Mon-Fri), 9am - 1pm (Sat). They are very friendly.

Yeah, hence the sad.gif My SA didn't give me a choice. But in the end, didn't really regret lar. PU kinda looks very bulky. ABS looks nice smile.gif Problem with ABS is, mine crack already on the bottom part because I not used to going into a bump with a car that has bodykit  rclxub.gif 1st time reach a bump, that first time it cracked  whistling.gif

alright thanks dude.

did you guys connect the locktact or locktech electronic-ly to the system so that the car cannot be started without unlock the lock? just worry it will void the warranty.
*
I has installed the locktact and is very convenience to use. Feel more secure when u park outside lor. Send to sc for servicing and they didn't say anything. should be no problem.

RM500 definitely seems to be a better deal.. RM400 is the same as 1 forumer selling his 1 yr old rims  shakehead.gif . Maybe only in JB? blink.gif
You're saying if u're on gear 6 and u slow down till 20km/h it will still remain @ gear 6?  shocking.gif .

Btw, sent my car to chck for front windscreen problem - can hear wind noise coming in about 80km/h. Told me they need to get approval from hq to remove the windscreen and seal it back properly  shocking.gif  and will take 1 day process. Any1 gone through this? Why need approval from HQ? Coz im not replacing the windscreen, no cracks visible ...at least. But the service is much better than Red Cube, the one beside federal highway. Went ytd, the personnel there juz told me make appointment on Monday coz saturday all the SC will be closed coz he told me need to leave car for them 1-2 days (but da heck i went abt 11-12pm on a thursday, by right shld get car on Friday la right? Didnt explain to me the procedure as well, didnt bother to ask the technical advisor to check first also) Kudos to teh kinrara ppl. Friendly and informative, fixed the alignment issue as well. And the personnel @ kinrara SC told me changing my 17" ori rims to another 17" rims will not void warranty. is there any SA or SC that mentioned otherwise?
*
I had that problem too on the first day i collect my car. My hubby just add a little bit windscreen glue at the windscreen. Less than 1/2 hours. No more wind noise coming from windscreen already. Maybe you can check at the shop who change windscreen. They might help.

i just installed the lock without the wiring. at first I thought the car cannot be started coz the brake pedal is fully locked but found that there is still small room to press on the brake pedal.

this is dangerous if the car is started without unlock it hence today I will buy some rubber pad and tight on the locktech so that no more room for the brake pedal to be press and started the car accidentally. hope it will work.
*

[/quote]

I have installed locktech and my brake pedal is tight when is lock. The engine won't start unless i unlock the lock. Did your installer install properly or not?
