the SA from Penang told me the GPS is free for live? he says just activate once and you can use it as long as you want and get free map upgrades from the speednavi website.

anyways i tested the touch response of the HU and its quite sensitive. kindda nice. Only change is the ipod jack. It has been replaced with a USB port.

so i seal the deal with free bodykit and 1k cash rebate for 1.6SX with the GPS HU. Not sure if this is a good deal or not....

You bought from Krystal Point Penang branch? I am thinkin of using the 1k for tinting. Tyres i think wait for it to finish first before changing to Michelin becos i think those low profile tyres wont be cheap. Did ur SA tell u that the SpeedNavi GPS is free for life? Alot of ppl in this thread saying need to pay RM60 yearly for service.

I believe something is not right..it should not take that long (10-20 minutes) for the air blowed  from the aircond vents to be cold. Kindly make a complain to the SC. In less than half a minute, the air blowed from the aircond vents should feel cold already..but of course it needs several minutes to cool down the entire cabin. Anyway, a good tint surely helps to cool the cabin faster.

Yupp..i believe so. I still remember last time, several month after Forte launching, got several SX owners having problem with their AC compressor. In fact, their AC compressor has been replaced due to malfunctioning. So the same issue might have occurred again i guess.

Also, the cooling capacity of the AC might not be at the optimal point if the refrigerant pressure & lubricant inside the system is not sufficient. So might try ask the SC to check the refrigerant pressure first before we can conclude that the compressor itself is malfunctioning. Else, in the extremely rare cases since that the Forte also got heater function, might be the heater valve is leaking or malfunctioning that might introduce hot water (car coolant) to also circulate in the AC system thus increasing the air temperature (lessen the cooling capacity). An AC expert at the SC should know on how to troubleshoot this.

I was made to understand that Forte AC compressor is a dual-clutch type which will lessen the engine burden & the electrical power needed when it kicks-in. That's why we can hardly notice when the AC compressor kicks-in coz no light is dimming, sounds is kept to minimal & even no changes in RPM (so the car wont jerk when the AC compressor starts when we drive). Though this is some good features for us, but replacing it out of the warranty might be costly. As a moral of this paragraph, please dont burden your AC compressor to the max especially for a long period by setting the temp to less than 20 deg. Set the temp to 24-26 deg might be a good move in order to prolong the AC compressor's life & it saves fuel too 

Same case for me. If auto set to low blower speed, then the driver side will be colder than the passenger side. Asked Kinrara SC they said its normal because of the location of the compressor. Somehow i doubt that
