timing chain

guys..sad story here..
i was drizing normally today..when suddenly when i push the accelerator pedal..the engine rev..but the car seems to be stuck in first gear...and barely moving..but d engine rev to abt 6k..then i manually change to 2nd gear..still barely moving..

stop a the road side and had to call for a tow truck..
waited for 45 minutes and send the car to Kia Setapak..
initial dianogsied faulty gearbox and leaking transmission oil..

forte 2.0 barely 1 year and 13 days..
pray hard for me guys..

hi All forte owner,
you guys make me feeling to get a forte 2.0 (maybe white) if I can sell off my kelisa this weekend.

so far what are the major problems of forte besides alignment tend to left and rattling noise at dashboard/door panel?

the SA offered this to me:
1) old version w/o HU with discount of 1500
2) new version with HU

after 1st round of bargain, i get 1000 discount on the new version (with HU) + RM200 tinting voucher but no other freebies even full tank, smarttag/tng.
im actually waiting for elantra spec to compare but most likely i will go for forte. if so, i will try to get leather seat + full set of K logo on top of that
can any1 advise me whether my request is too much??

i think now that the elantra launch it's price... KIA SAs will surely not want to nego that much... since they know everyone will decide on Forte. But i heard there is another FL for forte sometime soon this year.... not sure what FL is that... going to book my car by May... now have to survey which SA gives the best goodies....
BTW... the SA in Autocity says he never heard of a boot tray and he ask the other SAs in the office and non of them even heard of it... seriously la those fellas... i think i need to go look for other SA already.

No bodykits for the new fl.. But 2.0 comes with rear spoiler factory fitted, and a 2.0 logo behind..
