I received my 1.6sx yesterday.

No rattling sound on doors, steering no vibrates if drive 100km/h above, alignment is okay. all and all, im very satisfied with my ride. that is just a thing that really bumps me, SA promised to give 5-inch GPS and its nowhere to be found. im just excited playing with the touch screen HU, and kinda forget about the free give promised earlier. haha.

Gonna continue driving the car some more today to detect if there's any abnormalities on it.

How is it better Forte vs Latio?

I like Latio physical design and interior space more, and the nissan brand too. But i like the higher specs of Forte only. both roughly the same price, im comparing Latio 1.6Manual VS Forte 1.6SX.

latio design nice? hahaha..forte design anytime better la...nissan brand nothing special actually..many complaints about their (other) cars

my personal preference la, i dont care what others think. i like forte design too, but just my preference is more towards to latio one.

Planning on getting a forte soon, just wondering what are the best promotions that you have managed to bargained?
I am looking for a full bodykit with the new HU with any other freebies.

for me, forte far more superior look than latio...

i just got my forte 1.6 EX today...got the offer for 1.5k discount with bodykit and windows visor...and i just install RhinePro XD3 at Bukit Tinggi branch..great service they had!

ohya, btw, how to see the total travelled distance???..the trip meter still abit confusing for me..

Anyone in Penang that can recommend SA that can give good discount or good freebies? Planning to buy the 1.6SX. Went to the KIA in AutoCity Juru but SA only give RM300 tint voucher, discount on bodykit (pay RM1400), carpet mat, and K logo.

Actually la, those tint discount provided by SA no use one. I've been to the shops that provide them the discount, some of them can actually give you more discount without the discount voucher. Depend on how you "kamching" with them la I managed to nego with one of the tint shop (cannot mention names cause they told me not to tell out) to give me RM900 off the tint whereas my SA only give me RM500 voucher. Same goes for bodykit, carpet and K emblem. Unless you're getting it for free, I think with a little effort and research and some sweet talking, you can save a lot

This is what I got from my SA:
- bodykit (have to pay RM2000). I saw in lyn, ppl selling for RM8XX. plus spray paint and workmanship, maybe max cost you RM1200?
- K emblem front back for free
- Smart tag for free (without TnG, cause I already have it)
- Rim lock for free

She offered me:
- Body Kit + Front-back K emblem + 4 K emblem wheel cap + boot tray + GPS HU for RM5500 I think (I saw online K emblem wheel cap selling RM50? Correct me if I'm wrong. But I don't need also, plan to change Rims in the near future , Kira here kira there, GPS HU will actually cos about RM3k in that bundle, outside sell RM900?)
- RM500 tint voucher (didn't take it up cause I want a very good tint, and my friend knows a friend that does tinting. Got my 3M tint for quite cheap )
- Boot tray for RM150 (I saw online only RM90)

Does forte have speed sensitive auto lock? I heard facelift coming next week ?

i think now that the elantra launch it's price... KIA SAs will surely not want to nego that much... since they know everyone will decide on Forte. But i heard there is another FL for forte sometime soon this year.... not sure what FL is that... going to book my car by May... now have to survey which SA gives the best goodies....
BTW... the SA in Autocity says he never heard of a boot tray and he ask the other SAs in the office and non of them even heard of it... seriously la those fellas... i think i need to go look for other SA already.

hi guys, i just got my forte 2.0 few days back. i notice the while driving, the car is pull to the left. Any solution to this? send back to service center on the 1000km to fix?

I heard this cannot be fix, is that true?

could the FL be the limited edition forte?
the ones where they remove the reverse camera display on the rear mirror and incorporate it into the HU? not sure... KIA suppose to launch things easily and suddenly compares to its cousin Hyundai Elantra.
