Nope. when i check just now, no power what so ever left in the car. This morning the cabin light can still lid, but become dimmer than usual. Now the car is like no power source connected to it.

Will call the breakdown assist first thing tomorrow. Hope it just the batt issue, nothing more serious. 

anybody using car ionizer??..can it be effective in removing the new car smell?..lol..now the new car smell mixed with my glade...smell so terrible..

1. As i remember..beside 6 speed...there are few features added such as auto fold side mirror,rear view camera,bluetooth and paddle shift.

2. I can say there are no big different for the fuel consumption and driving experience between these 2 version...maby slightly advantage for 6 speeder on the highway.

3. Most of the 2010 forte (maby all..im not sure)...are CBU from korea...if you make some researh about feedback from owners...there are not much complain especially for the quality issue...mine for example....my car really solid and tip top condition from day 1...i never encountered any problem like dashboard rattling sound or any annoying sound...my only minor problem so far is brake switch...but after i change it...problem solve. And for the 6 speeder..there are got some complain for the quality issue...but i think its just for minor issue maybe bcoz its CKD in msia.

4. I think most of the 4 speed forte only got 2 years warranty...but some of the owner like me had paid certain amount to get extended warranty for another 3 years with unlimited milage...and yes its can transfer to the new owner...so this is the important part if u want to look for used forte....but now all new forte come with 5 years warranty.

Ya, I know it look luxurious, but reliability is an issue compare to  the old radio. it crack my head choosing it. I tested it play rmvb file from usb port but cannot play youtube file (flv/mp4). The GPS softwars is not papago. Not sure can update map/software version in future? If taking the old radio, concern is the car will be outdated in 1 day. New HU reliability concern. GPS good to have but not everyday need it.
My loan approved and SA already identify, just left to choose the new/old HU. hard to decide.

Im thinking to go for 3M tint but afraid the built in gps cant receive signal after that coz heard some 3M users claim that cant use smartag after tinting.
Anyone can share the experience?

for example, forte full tank is 55 and total travel KM is 500km. so 55liter divide by 500KM =  9KM per 1litre.

but I drive Myvi 1.3 on highway with 11km/hr, I get 16.5km/L which is 6.1L/100km.
If drive 80km/hr, the fc can go up to 20++ to 25km/L......... So, it is depand on drive nad road condition.
My normal daily drive ia long distanc, about 35km from home to office.

Guys, need to get some information. If I would like to change my rim to 16 inch, what will the compact be to my forte. Any recommendation of workshop that I can find reasonable price of rims and tire? Am actually looking for something like enkei for rim. Is there other which is more affordable and good?

hmm... then wat brand that you can suggest? OZ? Enkei or Advanti. Just want to make sure my family can sit comfortably in the car. Current tire and the wheel size seems like making the ride quite bumpy. As you also know HOW GOOD our road be.    So your total cost is about how much? inclusive tires and rim?

Never get bore with forte after driving a year long. Keep mod this n that. Haha..

nothing different for the warranty other than the 3 years from allianz is an extended warranty, everything else is pretty much same including parts that is covered under the warranty. you will get a document mentioning what is covered and what is not within 1-6 months after you get your car. For service, yes you have to pay normal charges of course including labour (after you've used up the first 3 free labour charge vouchers given to you).

For warranty, yes it only covers if something is spoilt of course - that's how warranty works. What were you expecting?

hi guys , my forte is reaching 40k service and when i went for SC they quoted me over RM800 for 40k service, is that normal ? from my understanding , major 40k service will be changing auto transmission fluid. spark plug already changed during30k.
