Was using 97 from day 1 i got my car until the price went up. correct... using RON95 make the engine sound rougher during morning start-up...but my brother in law 1.6 using RON95 also, but no rougher sound every morning... |

QUOTE(gigohlo @ Mar 28 2012, 04:56 PM) Now that you guys are on this topic, my 2.0L has knocking when its on very low speeds and when I do not press the accelerator. Like when you put to D and let the car move forward by itself. But that itself, the sound is very faint and only can be heard if you are sitting in front and with the radio off / mute. hmmmm mine different... since day 1 using RON95...knocking heard when cold start only, once the engine hot that sounds dissapeared... slow/high accelerator, no knocking sounds detected... when i record that sound during cold start and show it to taipan052, he said "forte kau enjin diesel ke"... now i change my engine oil to liqui moly, heard can reduce the rougher sound... still monitoring... |

QUOTE(jeschong @ Apr 9 2012, 12:53 PM) i think most of the Fortezen using full syn oil huh i'm using semi liqui molyany suggestion on the brand beside petronas? QUOTE(Keith Lian @ Apr 9 2012, 02:22 PM) I just want to check with you guys. Did anyone of you install Ultra Racing front strut bar, front lower arm, rear anti roll bar, rear lower arm and stiff ring for your forte? Mind to share? rumours said that only front lower arm and rear lower arm are sufficient enough... but pair with "nice" adjustable suspension too... |

QUOTE(ernie ball @ Apr 9 2012, 10:41 PM) Hi guys, anyone changing your stock Kumho KH17 tires to another brand because of discomfort? Any big difference to noise and vibrations after swapping to, say, Michelins? How much will the tire shop pay you for your original tires? Thanks for the feedback! if new tires maybe u can get RM100/pc, if old maybe half of that... better sell via mudah.my...noise & vibration will be reduced if u choose soft tires, but prepare to change it frequently coz cepat botak...
