QUOTE(deorext @ Jan 31 2012, 04:38 PM) Hi all, wanna ask something... i wanna remove the chrome trim from the boot... just wanna know is there any clip attached to the chrome trim? or just like the badge double sided glue only:? The Chrome is screwed to the bonnet. There are holes once you remove it.

QUOTE(Poadster @ Feb 2 2012, 02:47 AM) Yup... these spoilers sit in the top of the boot lid (see my earlier pic), you cant clip it on as the spoiler will be lifted up with the boot when you open it.... which superglue, hot glue or 3M tape can stand the full weight of the spoiler against gravity...??? If you lift up your boot, you will see there are already markings and "hole" for you to drill thru to install the spoilers..... ori spoilers will have a rubber lining at the bottom (as well as a third plastic clip which needs to be cut, as our Inspira DONT have that 3 hole slot, LGTs have them) that helps prevent scratches against boot and to prevent water to seep thru the drilled holes..... still, even if water does seep down the hole, it will only land in the boot drain channel and flow out.... it dont go into the boot... And there are 3 marked holes are for them spoilers, just drill 1&2 for LGT or 1&3 for Evo X..... thats why these two spoilers are the best fit ones..... Come TT and I can show you them "holes"..... Great info. I'm always worried how the installer would know how to drill the right hole + position. Since there is a marking there then should be fine.

Ask my dad to send the car to install the LGT spoiler. He called back and say the installer say if install original there will be a gap between the spoiler and the edge of the boot lip. Ask me whether how I want to install it..
How you guys install the spoiler? Follow original? I believe the original LGT installer the spoiler got a gap one right

QUOTE(Poadster @ Feb 3 2012, 01:53 PM) Pls dont install it all the way to the edge.... (some one here did... )... there is supposed to be a gap there, ask the installer to follow the marking at the bottom of the boot.... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Yeah he told me that if follow the marking there will be a gap. I just want double confirm that he is referring to the right marking. Thanks!! QUOTE(ngjx @ Feb 3 2012, 01:53 PM) U mean gt holes after removing the ducklip is it? Nop nop.. refer to above!

QUOTE(aaronchaiz @ Feb 3 2012, 04:24 PM) i know the CC la aiyo.. Added on February 3, 2012, 4:24 pmreeccchhh man can afford 2 cars.. which 1 better is term of performance? If you talk about specs .. can't compare la.. definitely the inspira show better figures. But understanding that the polo is just 1.2 and gives that much of a torque and "kick" .. I'm honestly very impress with the DSG performance.. Turborcharged is the way to go man! and oh yeah love the way the engine rev.. the sound is so fierce.. and sometimes can hear the turbo psst psstt Added on February 3, 2012, 4:32 pmQUOTE(desertkids @ Feb 3 2012, 04:30 PM) pick up polo win gua..high speed inspira win gua..2nite selinix drive both cum let us try then ma noe lo.. Why drive both? Drive the polo cukup la.. LOL In fact today I'm driving the polo to work cause my inspira installing spoilers. Very hard to justify on the pickup.. The polo is so small compare to inspira but yeah I agree when you drive the polo and drive the inspira.. I sometimes do expect the inspira to have that kind of kick the polo has.. QUOTE(aaronchaiz @ Feb 3 2012, 04:33 PM) Oh Selinix.. can u teach me some way to get money like u do? so if let's say street race.. u think which car stand a chance more? Let me clarify first. I don't own the Polo yeah is my sisssss.... she is the reech one .. i poor only buy inspira.. LOL Street race? Weaving in and out traffic? Cornering at at least 80 km/h? Then I believe the inspira will win .. reason is the polo handling sucks... steering feedback is bad also.. If you talk bout a 100m drag race .. my gut feeling tells me the polo will smoke the inspira..

QUOTE(turbocharged @ Feb 3 2012, 04:40 PM) ok, i've ran a check on 0-100 for both car....er....seems like the time is about the same, but polo is 10xxkg, and inspira 13xx kg.....most probably inspira will lose in 0-100, and esp driver usually has R40 spare tyre The monster is the Polo GTI.. 1.4 twincharged on a car that sizeeeee
