Civic is a conventional auto GB right? If you see the torque curve of both systems you'll see why you feel that the auto GB is more powerful than the CVT...

Yeap I noticed same thing as well if use D for going uphill, but when I switch to manual mode no problem liao woh? Just make sure correct gear so that rev are above 3.5k.

even 1.8 CVT also enough to pickup and overtake ler....just pijak more and be more patient, wait for the CVT to change to the correct ratio and then u'll speed off like a rocket.

after remap, the difference not there liao .

and oh btw, i should have posted this before cny, for those travelling through / stopping by at bentong....please wear ur selt belt and dont illegal park even though the driver is in the car. The police will come very quickly to issue u summon. and the police there do not accept lim teh money one so....dont even bother trying otherwise u'll end up with another type of summon later on.

Must practise unker driving style ma...

But so far I manage to achieve my best FC using the following style (for CVT).

1. Pijak kuat kuat so that u reach city cruising speed asap (60-70 kph)
2. then slowly change to featherweight feet. sometimes u can even let go and tap tap a bit of gas to maintain speed

with this style manage to get an avg of 12 km/l in city driving. that translates to about 700 km per full tank...

I tried to lightly press all the time from stationary to cruising speed, get around 10.5 km/h only...

1 thing....i always kena smoke by super SLK for the first few seconds at traffic light lol . they go fwd like kena shoot by rubber band.

but our boot need to push up though....i rmb the new elantra u open the boot, the boot will immediately boing pop up . if not careful u can lose 1 front tooth
