We were quite defensive ourselves...midfield dare not push up higher. adam , stevie all jag jaga only...stevie famous screemers not even one try?

i am really fed up...with draws....what is wrong we gung -ho them and even we lose yesterday , i am fine....because like i say all these draws...if only some are lost and some are WINS !! We still have better points compared to all draw!!!

Damned!!!

If the result is loss 0-4 due to more offensive approach, then people may bash again.

Against good team, (Spurs sitting at 3rd has a reason), you cannot go all out attack one, it is suicide.
If against lower league team, yes, but not against top team.
Against top team, you play more "jaga-jaga" then nick a goal, win 1-0.
Liv has chance to win it, just didn't take the chance or convert well.
Among those many draw, it is not down to little offensive approach, but poor conversion into a goal, aka players tend to forget wear the shooting boot or practice too much hitting the post as target.

Liv is adventurous enough to win most game apart a few that played poorly.
If the conversion of chance is slightly better, those draw were already turn into win.
It is not about adventurous or not, it is about clinical finishing, taking the chance created. There were matches that Liv had 15 corners, 20+ shot, and fail to score, not to mentioned double digit hit the post/bar stat.

At 0-0, ask Reina to come forwards the leave the goal post for a corner kick during the end of the game?
Losing 0-1 time may be, but not at 0-0 time.

Statistics don't give the true picture contrary to what people think. We may have a high number of chance created but that's just quantitative analysis.Statistics gives you only that.We should be more interested in the qualitative analysis of things. There were many times our players were holding on the ball for too long. That was the result of the non availability of players in positions to receive the ball.Essentially it means there was a lack of movement from the players.
I have to admit that i am still unsure about the main cause of our lack of creativity. Some say we lack the playmaker like silva or benayoun for us last time to slip in through balls in tight situations, while some say our players are a too static.eg: adam, carroll Perhaps it's a combination of both.

From what i remember there were only four decent chances that i consider a quality chance at scoring a goal.
Johnson's shot at the end of first of half, kelly's shot, carroll's right foot disaster and suarez unfortunate handball.

The rest were just speculative shots that had a higher probability of missing the target than hitting it.

Taken from soccernet:we had 17shots,only 4 of them were on target. That backs my notion that the chances we create aren't good enough although i don't like using stats.

Liv at current team, yes, may not as slick or as creativity than Silva, Messi type of player, but a number of matches, they were creating enough chance to win the match.
Those chance is not half chance, but decent scoring opportunity.

4 decent chance per match can be good enough to win a match already especially against top team.
How many MU created chance to win a match for those a lot of 1-0, during last title season? 4-5 chance per match is enough!
See how Hernandez took his chance to score during 3-3 against Chelsea one, 1 is enough.
See how Torres missed the chance to score, that can win Chelsea at 3-2 time, 1.

Chance is not easy to create and come by. When it comes, need to take it.
You cannot have 10 or 20 chance only score one. Seldom you can have so many chance especially against good team one.

Modern day football no longer same as previously.
Manager cannot wait and nurture slowly the young players, either they come good fast, or not only.
No come good fast, manager has no choice to bring in fresh new prospect young leg.

There are severe intensity in modern football, and money in stake.
Lose few games, people are calling for manager head already, so it is too much a gamble to throw in average youngster and hope they turn good by gaining experience.
If the manager see the youngster too average, generally they won't play them. Managers see them week in week out, while fans only see them a couple of mins.

See how people criticise Wenger beginning of season when he signed little experienced and established players and want to play the youngster.
