I changed tyres today and the shop is asking if I want to change the tubeless valves, rubber one rm6 each and rm12 for steel one.

Is this necessary to change in the first place?

Why need to change also? Doesn’t new tyre comes with this thing already? Or it is something sold separately?

If dun change, meaning that the existing one will be used?

The shop is not cheating you by asking if you want to change the tubeless valves ...

I'd no problem using back used old tubeless valves those days with 50k-60k tyre life.

BUT with XM2 at 110k km or thereabout tyre usage, I do tag along the shop and get them replaced.
