Just my advice , since you're new in android , why dont u just enjoy samsung stock Rom while waiting ICS out ?

Maybe if you need better performance you can try to go setting -> about phone -> software update
to 2.3.6 . It's fast enough for normal use compare to 2.3.5 .

i myself took around 2 weeks time to figure out everythings .

just got my capdase car holder, can't hold landscape , will bend down coz too heavy,

how to test the iron man video problem? which video?

thanks. just tested, seems no problem on my phone  , the video is very dark, but nothing much problem as i tried to watch in my macbook pro, quite dark also. (note darker abit la).

I downloaded the iron man2 files using my laptop and played using the normal MKV player that I have been using for years watching all my HD and Full HD movies. The black spots is visible if seen using the laptop. When I compared to my personal copy of Iron Man 2 6GB MKV files, it do have that black thingy (not as much as the file). BUt the black thingy is not seen in other dark scened HD movies. Therefore, it is the QUALITY of the file and not the defect of the GNote screen. And safely I say, my GNote is perfect! Playing Transformer 3: Dark of The Moon HD (2GB MKV files) superbly! Tried even Ong Bak 1 and 2 which have dark scenes, also no problem. So it is the file itself is not good in the first place. TQ

after downloaded the sample and watch, indeed there is banding in the video clip but when using MX Video Player to play and set to S/W Decoder (fast mode), not so notice of the banding...

i try print screen while playing a movie...but wat i get is totally black picture...try few adi...is this normal???

Is Google Maps really not supported stock rom, which is before I rooted my GNote? I'm using N7000XXLA4 & GINGERBREAD.XXLA6 which is not Malaysia rom. AND if I restore back my GNote to original rom, will I still cannot use Google Maps?   

from the review link u can clearly see the different card having different performance but if u sum up it's still depending on what apps been running and what type of transfer speed needed... as i've mention the card actual class speed will cause the operation delay... Kingston can say is average card, for smart device at least a class6 needed for normal operation but if handling HD item then class10 would be recommended...
