this is same as mine. bought it in tesco cheras mall last month. wish it has the speaker hole like the flip one. anyway, happy with it and more confidence with the protection. can call by closing the flip as the speaker is loud enough. if not, just flip back. how much did u buy this?

Added on February 1, 2012, 2:31 pmmine been using the ~10% brightness for normal usage. if u notice, each app had its own brightness. for example, stock browser use auto setting, brighter at night compared during the day and once u close the browser app, the brightness goes down based on ur setting.

my black (iron man 2 clip) is exactly the same as benny's. maybe got little unclear (most probably due to pirated mkv files) because when i recorded a drcny drum show in midvalley and also watching Jozan in youtube... the pictures are perfect!.

i tested my g note by transferring 2gb transformers: dark of the moon MKV files from my laptop to gnote and play using stock video player. the picture quality was superb... as good as my Full HD TV... better than my HD LED LCD laptop with GT520M. Now i really satisfied with my gnote (bought in dec 2011)

last time i took print screen at S-Memo mode is by using the side of the palm, slide from left to right. actually was cleaning the screen but actually it took the print screen. hehehe

I downloaded the iron man2 files using my laptop and played using the normal MKV player that I have been using for years watching all my HD and Full HD movies. The black spots is visible if seen using the laptop. When I compared to my personal copy of Iron Man 2 6GB MKV files, it do have that black thingy (not as much as the file). BUt the black thingy is not seen in other dark scened HD movies. Therefore, it is the QUALITY of the file and not the defect of the GNote screen. And safely I say, my GNote is perfect! Playing Transformer 3: Dark of The Moon HD (2GB MKV files) superbly! Tried even Ong Bak 1 and 2 which have dark scenes, also no problem. So it is the file itself is not good in the first place. TQ

its not gnote hardware or software. it is the video file itself. the file is faulty.

play other mkv/avi files. dont be to paranoid about this. play the file on the laptop first. if the video is awful, it will be disasterous in gnote. if it is good in laptop, it will be good in gnote.

use APN Manager. just click Disable Data. SORTED!

read version 1(V1) until version 7 (V7) then decide. No point asking if u dont read all the version.

wanna know why its a big project? bcoz of it is a RM2299 phone. once kong, it will be the most expensive paper weight on ur desk. if it's a RM200... can buy 1, test and kong, throw away and buy another RM200 phone. Me myself, I read from the V1 until lastly decide to buy my GNote in Dec 2012. With the stories told, I bought 5-yr warranty as a precaution.

No offence though. I bought at senQ n the option was 1+1 or 5 yrs warranty. As the phone is >2k, i prefer longer warranty. Same as my i5 SB notebook 3 year warranty. Under 2k, any warranty will do. And i do still use my hp for longer than 2 yrs. Still using N79 and E75 now. Even htc desire my wife still use. So with the current spec n utilities of gnote, i think i will use gnote for 3 yrs. Even if there is gnote2, i dont think i will ever upgrade. If quadcore smartphone, it will be overkill. Therefore longer warranty is for my peace of mind.
